The most recent Double Boxed Set in the series to be announced as far as I know is for Hungarian star Rita Faltoyano. BTW, there is a separate topic about Rita nearby in "Star Crossed" and other stars are mentioned there too. You'll see there a very nice photo of Daniella taken at a party with Silvia Saint and Laura Angel.

If I may just mention regarding Rita, in all the latest DVD releases from "Private"(including one with a beautiful photo of Silvia on the front cover about white girls + black guys - maybe not politically correct!), there is a token supplied (like a credit card) inside the DVD box offering 24 hours free use of private.com also there is also a text number for Rita given as:- SMS: RITA +44 7870 200200 (standard local text message rate) where you can write to Rita and apparently someone will "Win a Date with a Private Star"!

I am not sure what the exact code would be from London? This information might be useful to you and other members.

Such a special "Private" DVD Collector's Box with a nice booklet for Daniella would be a fitting tribute to this lovely and tantalizing performer, who has proven to be a very plucky and determined young lady off-screen.

When Daniella is better, perhaps she'll even sign some of the booklets for us. [I have sent some little DVD insert booklets to one of Silvia Saint's team in Slovakia (at Wanda Polak's) and I am hoping to get them autographed when Silvia visits Wanda's Studios]

When Chris Alexander of "Anabolic" was in London some years ago, I asked him to autograph a "Buttman" Poster in a shop in town, which he happened to wander into with Tom Byron (they were on their way back to the USA from Cannes). Tom had recently cut his hair quite short! He told about filming with Angelica Bella (the Hungarian Goddess!) a few years back. By coincidence, the owner of that shop was the uncle of "Ronnie the Rocket" (the World Champion Snooker Player, Ronnie O'Sullivan) who is famous over here.

I am sure "Private" will come through for Daniella and thank you again for your effort, - and as they do say, "nothing ventured, nothing gained"

Thank you very much for posting up your letter to "Private" in support of Daniella (in two languages no less!).

"Private" is now based in Spain (it started in Sweden with Mr B.Milton) so their staff should have no problem in understanding your Spanish version.

In Argentina, is it the same language as Spain ?

Thank you again and I hope that some of the many USA fans will join the efforts to have "Private" celebrate delightful Daniella's great achievements - especially as she is so very popular over there.

working on myself every day but sometimes I feel "the time going
by", I will go home I think in 3-4 weeks and it will be hard to

I don't know if Daniella's friends Mr Axel Braun and Mr Steve Holmes could possibly help to organise something along these lines, now that Daniella is returning home (but I expect not working as before) and has studies to do and expenses to meet and so on, - I would be very happy to make a contribution to an "Appreciation Fund" for Daniella say in time for her Birthday on September 17th or before, to be sent to Daniella in her home country (assuming there are no exchange controls?).

With Daniella's many fans all over the world, I am sure a nice sum could be raised and we could gift something back to a very sweet lady who has always given her all for us.

Do you think Mr Axel Braun could help here ?

Someone needs to check about whether money can be sent to the Czech Republic without exchange restrictions. I can try asking my local Bank in London. I am not sure what they will know? I guess it would need an account opened in the Czech Republic for Daniella to credit this to either en masse or by individual transfers (or both).

I would have thought fans might be happy to send $50 - $100 or whatever they can manage. Perhaps those still active in the movie business would wish to contribute even more.

If say even 200 fans and fellow performers joined in, it would make a nice gift in time for Daniella's Birthday on 17th September.

There have been lots of viewings on this topic (perhaps the greatest ever for a single posting originated by "Gabriel Nine" following information from yourself last year) and I am sure caring folks would join in and express their heartfelt appreciation to a most delightful and plucky star of the glamour movies who has entertained us all for several years in her own inimitable way!

A fan here in London has been in contact with Miss Andrea Pirova (who helps on Silvia Saint's Site at Wanda Polak's), and who has a senior position in the Slovak TV Station www.markiza.sk. A request can be made that they give this some publicity too later on. They have a daily news programme on the Web covering our topics etc. There is also another popular related Site that might help, owned by the same company, which is the largest commercial TV Station in the country.

We have a little time till September but I think we do need someone in the Czech Republic to help liaise things. In the USA, perhaps contributions could be held safely in trust for Daniella by Mr Braun or someone else known to Daniella and then transferred to the Czech Republic in one go?

Also for other various countries, perhaps a banking contact could be given set up for Daniella's use over there and we could transfer payments over (making sure we've got the right account!)

I think Daniella's bank people will have to help to ensure it reaches her safely. We need some help here. Is Mr Braun looking in please ? If so, perhaps he would speak to Daniella. The only thing is I am frightened that Daniella might be a bit embarrassed, especially given her very good and kind nature - but we should (gently) stress that we want to demonstrate our genuine appreciation and this is one way we feel we can all do this in a positive manner.

It would be very nice to hear from any other Members if they also would support this idea for an "Appreciation Fund" gift for Daniella's forthcoming Birthday?

Thank you and I hope more of Daniella's friends and fans will write in.

In the meantime, we in London have written to the Slovak TV Station mentioned and copied it to Miss Silvia Saint herself in the Czech Republic asking if any advice and/or help with setting this up might be forthcoming as they are so close by.

One of our fans here helped (voluntarily) both the Wanda Polak in Slovakia and both Silvia's Sites (one free and one part-pay) with translations checking and other items for the Site.

I think Silvia is away at the moment taking a break however. Enquiries will be made about exchange controls (if any?) here. Maybe there are none these days. At one time, you couldn't take more than £50 out of the country!

Finally, maybe Mr Axel Braun might be looking in again soon with any possible advice for us and perhaps he would speak to Daniella personally to arrange some point of contact for transfers to the Czech Republic, etc or however it needs to be done!

When things are more advanced, I will ask some other smaller Sites to publicise the effort too, including Silvia's Fan Club, as I am sure some of the fans on there will help. You may remember the nice message from Silvia (copied over onto this Site) originally posted on Yahoo in February 2003, after Silvia had spoken with Daniella.

We could also ask "Private" in Spain to make a goodwill contribution. Some of their best sellers were "The Bride Wore Black" and "The Academy" starring Daniella in the first and co-starring with Silvia in the second.

I am aware that Daniella is of course very famous and popular in the USA, so there should be a lot of support hopefully.

If it wasn't for Mr Holmes' very first message which 'Gabriel Nine' kindly conveyed onto ADT, there wouldn't have been all this interest (with over 5,000 viewings by well-wishers concerned about Daniella).

I hope that Daniella will continue to make progress with her mobility and maybe with medical improvements in the future, she will get better and better.

Thanks again for all your help and further to yesterday's arrangements (this particularly concerns UK fans),....

I contacted "American Express Europe Ltd." today (29th) over here in London. They have quite a few branches in Central London and another near London Airport (Heathrow) and I tried two branches and made five calls in all to them and others, as below.

Apparently, the "Amex Gift Cheque" that you described does not exist at all in England! The company said they had dealt with them but do not issue them in this country.

They suggested Amex Travellers Cheques made payable to the recipient but said there are some rules about having to witness the signing, etc., which I didn't quite understand.
I have never seen a Travellers Cheque actually. *However see later (the UK Post Office's info!).

I then contacted my local High Street Bank. They said I could buy Dollar Banknotes in both one hundred or fifty dollar denominations and post them to the USA, but they said I should check first with the Post Office about loss in the post.

I said I thought there was "special delivery/insurance" normally up to £2,500 available for stuff sent through the post.

I then 'phoned the UK Post Office Headquarters and got another surprise. A big one!

The Post Office told me that sending of banknotes, cheques, etc through the post to the USA is absolutely prohibited and that envelopes are scanned and cash or cheques, money orders payable including gifts, etc would be confiscated by the USA Post Office!

The lady said several people had complained about cash gifts sent to friends in the USA having been seized. She said that this even applies to sending through the post USA Banknotes also bank drafts, money orders, etc.

I asked her then how does anybody buy anything from America and pay for it ? How do people conduct trade ? The lady said by using a Credit Card or "Bank to Bank" Direct Transfer.

By this time, my head was spinning a bit with all this "red tape"!!

The UK Post Office lady added that (flower) plants were also prohibited by the USA Post Office, also "obscene" material (I didn't comment on that one!).

She stressed that it was the USA Post Office who made these Rules not them. The lady said she had a big book of rules and regulations (not available at the local Post Office nor on the Web, when I enquired about seeing it for myself).

MY SUGGESTION: Can I therefore send our contribution either direct to Daniella's Bank A/C or to your company's -whatever is preferred or possible. I would think that the bulk of support is coming from your side in the USA, so at least hopefully you will have the Amex Gift Cards from USA fans, but I am afraid it seems that we over here have to do it by direct Bank Transfer.

I believe you have my (and another) e-mail address for contact. Perhaps you would let me know directly if I may therefore send the sum of $350 direct to one of the Banks (either Daniella's or your company's) if possible. Obviously, it's best to give Bank A/C payee details separately off the Web.

NB. If any other UK fans who want to contribute have any other ideas, please they would be kind enough to contact me separately by e-mail.

Anyway, one way or the other, this technical glitch will be sorted out I am sure well in time for your visit to Prague in the summer. Sorry about these gremlins! They will be overcome!

Dear Axel,

Thank you for your prompt reply and information. I didn't know who "Fedex" was, so I 'phoned the UK Post Office Headquarters again.

Lucky I did because this time another person answered from the "Call Centre". I explained about my earlier conversation with his colleague and the dire warnings she gave me about the scanning of material and confiscation of banknotes, cheques, etc. by the USA Post Office.

The gentleman explained that "Fedex" is nothing to do with the Post Office but is a private courier. However, he said he thought what I had been told about prohibited items didn't sound right.

I mentioned the Book of Rules & Regulations that his colleague had quoted to me in great detail (plants, etc). He got his own copy of the Book out and assured me that he had the most up to date one. He also said I could ring the American Embassy 020 7 499 9000 here in London.

He checked the Book but said he could not find any reference as to banknotes, cheques, money orders being prohibited by the USA Post Office.

I was flabbergasted as I had related to him all that I'd been told earlier today and I said that I had even put all this information on the Web in case donations by UK fans were liable to be seized, etc.

I asked if he should check with the Supervisor, but he said that he had the Rule Book and there was nothing whatsoever about all this for the USA.

I didn't know what to say as I had been told two completely different accounts within the space of an hour or so!

I said I would 'phone the American Embassy to see if they would confirm things one way or the other.

Just as I was about to ring off, the gentleman said he had just noticed that where the page for the rules for the USA ended there is another following page, which is for URUGUAY and he said that's where all these Prohibitions are set out! - nothing to do with the USA after all!

What a carry on! Good job I made that second call.

Tomorrow (as it's too late now) I will purchase $350 in banknotes and pay the fee for exchange rates, etc and post them to your office by special delivery/insured via the UK Post Office, which is easier for me, as I don't know about "Fedex". I hope this is alright, as it will be easy for me to do and have the envelope on its way to you tomorrow by special delivery.

I will be fully insured even if the notes got stolen. Perhaps, you would then be good enough to change the cash into vouchers when you get my special delivery envelope. I have written a greetings card for Daniella which I got long ago, but didn't know where to send it.

Sorry for the incompetence of our UK Call Centre, which got me needlessly worrying how to get round this problem.

I have set all this out (blow by blow) for the benefit of any UK fans, who might be told the same alarming nonsense that I was earlier today. I asked that this matter be reported to the Supervisor so that other callers are not given entirely wrong information and frightened out of their wits!

Perhaps you will let me know when my envelope and card arrives safely.

Some of the earlier pages on 'Gabriel Nine's topic fit in but the later ones (pages 5 & 6) don't seem to be aligned in the same way. When printed out, a whole blank area is on the left at the expense of losing text on the right. I have adjusted Internet Explorer "Page Set Up" to the smallest permissible margins both sides and also adjusted the "View" to the smallest size in Outlook Express 6, but I still can't fit the whole of the ADT messages in when printing them out.I have Win98SE, Office Premium2000, HP Laser Jet6L Printer (Blk/Wht). Thank you also for the computer tip about transferring the ADT Web text into a "Word" document. There are probably a couple of ways of doing this (Insert or Copy & Pasting) I expect. I can get some help I think on this if I can't sort it out, but I'll have to use some other material to test the pastes on !

Good news! We just heard from Silvia tonight - she's in Portugal! We were getting worried because Silvia had been away from her Site for many weeks.

I don't know if Silvia is filming or doing new photo shoots. "Private" wanted her to do her old style stuff and host a new movie (Private Stars) but Silvia wasn't keen on the old style work, but instead wanted to do just a "hosting" role along with her friends I think Jenna Jameson and another famous American actress, I think it was Jill Kelly her friend with whom she used to film. I don't know what happened in the end. I suspect Silvia stuck to her guns.

Many of the fans are from East Europe and I don't think they get to see the latest movies at all. But they are very clued up on "vidcaps" and "pics" etc, which I know nothing about. I don't think they get the "Private" mags over there either (i.e. Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary) but I know that they are very skilled on the photo clips side, etc.

"Evil Angel" is the most popular American label in London.
The original red-boxed DVDs fetch the highest prices (retailing @ £50 each). There are also some "R18" versions licensed to one of the merchants (the uncle of the World Champion Snooker Player in fact) or his associates. You may have met him in America (Danny). I believe he sat at Rocco's table at an Awards Dinner about two years ago.

I will await your further news either on here or by e-mail.

I could also obtain a Banker's Draft and have it sent to your company or to you in the equivalent Sterling Pounds in English currency but I don't think I can obtain a Draft in dollars in any local British Bank.

Alternatively, maybe there's an American Bank who could convert the Draft to a Dollar one (if that's done ?)

I expect I can easily send your company a direct Bank Transfer. I think that would be in Sterling but presumably, it would be paid to you in your currency.

Anyway, we'll sort it out. We have plenty of time.

I wanted to sort out the UK arrangements as I am hoping that other UK fans will join in and support the effort, as I am sure the many USA fans and some of the USA and continental movie stars will too. Hopefully, Steve Holmes can try to speak to "Private" and "VMD" as well.

I and others have already sent "Private" news and copies of messages about Daniella from time to time. I don't know how much notice they take of "crazy fans" but they will listen to movie stars and colleagues I think.

Well, I am still at it despite the UK Post Office driving me potty with all sorts of scares!

You might notice that in some of the earlier postings, letters and messages have been e-mailed direct to digitalmedia@private.com and info@private.com asking about a special celebration DVD pack for Daniella (The Private Life of ....)

I am sure the "Private" have a lot of material in stock, interview material, shorts, features, outtakes, etc. They might even re-release "The Bride Wore Black" perhaps with a commentary from Daniella and David Perry which wouldn't involve physical strain to Daniella.

They could take new interviews with some of her past co-stars (David Perry, Lea De Mae, Silvia Saint, etc. and her main "Private" Director, Englishman Frank Thring). If I could, I would do the project myself without payment. "Private" also have a whole lot of photo material which could be amalgamated into a special book and included with the Dvds and so on.

Where there's a will, there's a way!

If you are minded to, another request to "Private" would not be amiss.

Your thoughtful suggestion in that September posting was the sowing of the "good seed" and we shall soon see the good fruits harvested for delightful Daniella, of that I am quite certain!

As you may have read on this Site and the USA ADT Site, the delightful Czech moviestar and friend of Silvia’s, Daniella Rush has been in hospital for 10 months following a serious car accident in her home country last summer. Dear Tricia or any possible helper,

I had wanted to print off this Daneilla topic to show would-be contributors in shops in town (who are making their fortunes from the movies!) but no matter what I try, direct printing, copy to Word 2000 or even Microsoft Front Page Editing (of which I understand little), I cannot seem to get the whole text on the printed sheet.

If you look at the first page of this topic, where 'Gabriel Nine' started this off, the first page fits on the screen and on the printed paper O.K. but later sheets all seem to go much wider ?

If I try to manually re-type sheets in MFG, then an extra space comes up between each line (like double spaced letters) and looks bad.

Why do later pages on the same topic change in width I was wondering. Is it dependent on the length of sentences ?

As discussed, unfortunately, we have no Amex Gift Cheques in this country!

Just a few minutes agao, I have received an e-mail from a friend of Steve Holmes who actually lives in Prague and has kindly offered to liaise to receive my payment of $350 for the "Daniella Rush Appreciation Fund". Steve arranged this whilst in Chile!

With your agreement Axel, I will then send my contribution to Steve's friend for him to pass on to Daniella. I am e-mailing you and Miss Devereaux separately with full details.

There must be other USA Studios would might join in this effort first suggested by Darth-Morpheous on this Site. Perhaps longstanding members in the USA would help out with some more requests to ensure the success of this effort.

Thanks to Steve Holmes' referral in the Czech Republic, I am hoping to get our contribution of $350 to date off tomorrow direct to the Czech Republic (as unlike the USA, we have no Amex Gift Cheques in the UK to send via Axel Braun).

Mr Holmes has pledged a substantial sum and his friend (whose good friend, Svetlana/"Meridian", knows Daniella very well) wishes to join in too. Steve's friend will be pleased to meet up with Axel in Prague in June and give him any gifts received by him direct from UK fans, etc. for Daniella so that they can all be handed over together by Axel when he sees Daniella in June on his visit to Prague.

PS. Chris, - I once met you in a Soho Video Shop on the corner of Walkers Court, when you and Tom Byron were on your way home from Cannes. You had a video camera with you. Tom had his hair cut short. I asked you to sign a “Buttman” Poster (young lady bending over!) that was on the shop wall. The owner of the shop gave you a few bits and pieces as a souvenir of your coming in. He had originally thought you were the “Buttman” because you had your camera and you and Tom were talking about the various stars showing on the video boxes on display on the shelves. I asked Tom about Angelica Bella! (my great favourite of the early days). The inside of the shop was also later featured in a “Ben Dover” movie! Rocco filmed outside it too once (a street scene only).
