We are definitely going to keep IR content on HardX too and plenty of scenes that will be exclusive just to one site or the other. There always has been IR content there and there always will be. Click to expand It occurs to me that because one of the biggest, most appealing aspects of Mason's work is the tease segments, we have a bit of a situation. These don't really fit in with a plot. Chicks feeling themselves, luxuriating in their curves, and making eye contact with the camera. It basically precludes any suspense of disbelief required for a story. It would be funny to think that women do this on a daily basis, running their hands over themselves, striking provocative poses, twerking, etc. Perhaps they could be practicing these teases in front of a mirror? But that precludes the glammy outdoor vistas which add to the hotness of Mason-directed teases. Basically, it would be difficult to take these glamorous, luxuriating teases which Mason is known for directing and combine them with a conventional plot. They disrupt the realism or suspension of disbelief, sort of the way that musicals cannot be taken seriously with people bursting out in song every few minutes. Now shooting a scene like a musical would be cool. I liked seeing AJ Applegate dance with JonJon. I'm all for more experimentation in presentation. I think new ideas are what's most important in distinguishing yourself. This is actually why I still favor the inclusion of scenes with plots, because it's an impetus for creativity. I really like seeing creative camera angles. I like the bonus of the tension in story scenes, e.g. Remy scene with Rico coming to collect a debt. It would be a shame to see the narrative style scenes dropped altogether. As I've said from the launch of DarkX, I like both types of scenes, and I would not want to see one excluded in favor of the other. I think Mason has a great eye for details that embellish the plot-bases scenarios, and they should keep exploring those. It also just so happens that she helms what are arguably the best gonzo scenes in the biz. So they both need to stay, IMO. Juggling both formats also would seem to be a distinct advantage for the DarkX brand, because practically every other IR site sticks to the same formula, either no-frills gonzo, or plots. Sticking to the same rigid formula is wack, IMO. It becomes predictable. Interestingly, DarkX has been juggling both formats and succeeding with both. What you normally see happen with other sites is they hedge their bets and present a single plan, then later they try to experiment a bit and open themselves to backlash for changing it up. It happens with gonzo sites which try to do stories, and story-based sites which try to put out gonzo scenes. By presenting both styles right out of the gate, DarkX keeps the doors open, and so far I haven't noticed anyone complaining about either format. People are enjoying both, and this lets DarkX flex and outshine all the other sites in both areas. Stay flexing DarkX!
