I'd suggest to not use it as a primary database as it has a lot of inconsistencies in the scenes and instead use it as a supplementary. You can use stashdb.org in addition with theporndb.net (signup is required for both)as these are cross-checked and moderated greatly on a regular basis.

Using the same example of Stella luxx on stashdb I ran a search and her first scene is listed for Bbcsurprise with isiah maxwell dated 09-12-2023, first vr for RealHotVr 09-02-2024, first anal for brcc 11-12-2023. Total scenes are listed as 112 but it also contains compilations, pmvs etc.Thanks to you I just realized that the excogi scenes haven't been updated on data18 for a long time .

I've registered with both the sites you recommended and I'll spend some time learning each of them over the next few days. Your findings on Stella Luxx, as an example, on those other databases make a lot more sense than Data18. Given that ExCoGi (and BRCC and BBCS) get so many first scenes, that seems reasonable.

I'm looking forward to spending some time learning how these databases can be used before diving in to start doing some searching.

When it comes to first anal scenes, another great resource is a thread that a former member started here almost ten years ago. The member was "FlacFan," and he created an impressive list of first anal scenes. For newer ADT members, here's a link. It is an impressive body of work that must have taken a lot of work:

I'm thinking with a combination of the sites I have, I should be able to work away at identifying the first scenes of favourite models. I should add that this isn't as easy as it may sound since I'll be looking to ID models whose careers date back 25+ years as well as some who started last year. When looking back 25 years, the records are far less available or accurate. This is obvious with FlacFan's list too. He highlights models in blue when he can't determine a first anal scene because the data just doesn't help.

What would you think of this: asking the Mods if they could open a thread that would be always on top but unlocked for new information. The thread would be for resources like IAFD, Indexxx, Data18, Freeones, and the two databases you introduced me to. I suspect that there are many others out there I've never heard of. I can't be alone in being interested in learning about new resources. When I joined ADT back in 2011 I knew about IAFD but that may have been it. I can say that I learned of Data18 through a post here. It might be a good resource for old and new members alike if such a thread existed. There is a precedent for this too. On the Star Crossed forum, there are two threads that are always at the top but are still open for new posts. One is for Twitter accounts, and one is for talent agencies. At the very least, this says that an open thread that stays on top is technically possible. Even if the Mods aren't interested in a resource thread on top, we could still start one and anyone who wanted to add to it could and include it as a favourite topic.

Any thoughts?

Adding to the sources,I have noticed the iafd reviews are incredible for these documentations now not every scene has these reviews especially the older movies/scenes originally released in under non-english studios and languages but they are a great place to start.

Another IAFD advantage in some searches is using the VOD links. I recall when I was looking for scenes where the model did only one anal scene in her career that in a lot of cases there were multiple scenes listed at IAFD. In some cases there could be six or more when there was only supposed to be one. I recall that they weren't always marked as a compilation either. In those cases, I could use the thumbnails on the movie's VOD pages and compare those to other listings and against the scene I had in my collection. In most cases, that confirmed that the model only did that one anal scene, but in a couple of cases, it showed that she did two.
