Most definitely try contact the studios, Wicked and JKP before you just accept living with it.
In Wicked's case in particular, if it is a recalled item, it's sounds like they would/should be quite amenable to exchange.

I'm never sure if it's just my disc or the whole batch, but this one's screwed up in several ways. There's no audio on the first two minutes of the Behind the Scenes segment. The commentary track seems to be about 30 seconds out of sync... it starts in the middle of someone's sentence, and they start talking about the next scene before the current one's over. Less important, on the extra features, clicking on "extra scenes" gives you the trailers, and clicking "trailers" gives you the extra scene. It's a pity the actual production of this disc is so shitty. The set of extras is very good, which is 75 percent of why I bought it. I ran into problems with Wicked's Jack & Jill and only found out too late that it was recalled. Is there anything I should do here, other than just live with it? [Link] |
