A check of the system info shows that the relevant specs are exactly as advertised on the eBay listing, so the only difference I know of is the model number, as far as what I thought I was getting. Anyone think there's any reason I should care about that?  [Link] |

For example, if you thought you were getting a "2" year old model instead of a "4" year old model then you may want to do something about it. Price wise it may have made a difference in the bidding. Search completed bids to see if there's a big enough difference in price to justify bitching about it.  [Link] |

For under $300, I'm not going to worry about it. Edited: Looks like this is a D500. I say that because there's no trackpoint in the middle of the keyboard. Also fine with me.
