Well, that might be an exaggeration, but I wanted to get your attention. For anyone doubting my assertions from the 'Penis Enlargement' thread, check out the latest case being covered by Court TV.
Transexual custody battle grows ugly.
At least this isn't a spouse-killing case, not yet anyway. The husband Michael, who used to be Margo, has two attractive heterosexual women battling over him. He was and is having an affair with the wife's best friend, who left her husband for 'him'. That's when the shit hit the fan.
Michael had treatments and is technically considered a man, but opted not to undergo the complicated penis grafting. Apparently this is very risky and expensive, and in the end the penis is useless for sex anyway. The oldest kid was hers that he adopted, the other was from sperm donated by Michael's brother.
What makes a man a man?
Apparently, it's not found in a Longitude bottle.
An expert on transsexualism testified Tuesday in a Florida custody battle that sex is defined by the mind, not the body.
Michael Kantaras was born a woman, but says he is legally a man with custody rights to his two children. His ex-wife, Linda, however, says her transsexual husband was never a man, and therefore, has no rights as a father. The case, which tackles issues of what constitutes marriage and transsexuality, is the first of its kind in Florida.
