The problem Macs had was that there was not enough software and nobody hat enough time to make enough viruses.
I had only one virus in 6 years. (when I had a Mac)

Now most Macs are running on OS X and there not many viruses, only some have been reported but they were not working properly and had not much spreading ability.

Don't worry, Steve Jobs is working on the smallest, simplest most elegant virus (shiny white with video!) for Mac OSX 10. One click and your computer will be history.

Currently everyone has a big hate-on for Microsoft. If or when windows loses it's stranglehold the virus writers will switch targets.

macs do now, my powerbook cries. good thing i don't use it because macs have been hideously outmoded in processors for some time. uh, yeah, the intel dcores are still a fuckload slower than a sub-$300 opty. just get kapersky or nod and forget about it.
