I never hear this argument in mainstream. Special effects are used to lower the risks for the actors. If special effects are used in adult film production many people scream "FAKE!" So, if Fake acts were common in porn, it would go over pretty well amongst fans. But if you suspect that it's fake or you find out it's fake, there is a little "something" that is lost. I think movies are a bad example, because we all know most movie visuals are fake. Think more like a concert. If someone is performing and you can't tell they are lip-syncing, then you enjoy yourself completely. But if you find out it's not really them, you are kinda like "what the hell?" It may not be bad enough to make you hate it and walk out, but you're always gonna say "It was good, but..."
