still, theres actually a lot of bad shadows in Robby D's work- thats just because he always tries to avoid the flat lighting of the normal gonzo style.
Check out the Digital Playground movies from Celeste- the lighting in these movies is flawless. Artistically interpretated and arranged perfectly.
Also check out the newer works from Digital Sin/New Sensations directed by Tyrone Shuz. He's got a fantastic camera.... widescreen anamorphic and clear picture, better lighting than Robby D. Look for "digital clarity" on the backcover. Not all of his releases are top notch like that. I think the guy is sitting on lots of old footage that's why.
