Do male performers ever get bored? I mean when you fuck for a living does it become like old hat?
I was watching this documentary once and this male performer was talking about how it's not as glamouras as people think. How you have to be able to perform when your tired, sick, ect. He was also going on about how you may not even like the female your about to do a scene with but you gotta put on this show that your totally into each other.
I was watching justin slayer fuck the crap out of Beauty Dior (my favorite performer)and how long he was able to last. I thought to myself, even if I got to fuck her like once a day, I don't think I could ever last nearly as long as he did in the scene.
I also starting thinking to myself "does he get as turned on fucking her as I do watching?" Or is it just another day at the office for J.S?
I realize a lot of this probably depends on who they are working with but I just can't get over how lucky Justin is to get to fuck Beauty Dior.
So I'm wondering if the novelty of being a performer wears off no matter who they might be fucking that day.

Being told exactly when to start and stop in a feature is probably not very fun, and in porn documentaries the focus is usually on features. A lot of 'all sex' seems to have this start and stop crap too, changing position, rolling a few minutes, changing position... etc. If you like ACTING it's probably a lot more fun.
This is why I prefer gonzo, it gives the performers more freedom to do their thing as long as they turn out a good scene.

Yeah, but you forget that the reason most of these guys are performing as often as they are is because they're the ones who can. The guys who get too excited and walk in thinking they're superstuds don't get to hang around much longer when they turn out to be 3-pump chumps. So you have your reliable studs who know what to do, how long to do it and who the girls usually trust (which I think is an important factor.)
If this job were easy, any guy off the street could do it, I'd be fucking porn stars instead of jerking off to them and the whole industry would be paying even less for the male talent then they already are.
How does a guy stay erect and perform if he is bored. I am sure everyone has fantasized about someone else, other than their actual partner to maintain the moment. Is it a safe assumption to believe the best performers are the ones that do not get bored male or female.

its a double edged sword. as a professional you arent paid to have a good time during your scene, you are paid to fuck the girl so that she looks as good as possible for the director. i think most performers obviously enjoy working with pretty girls, but we all know that sometimes you are stuck working with girls you wouldnt fuck in real life.

It never fails to amaze me , at all the critique directed at some of the performers in the biz. I would think if you do not like a performer , a better option is to to focus on ones you like. I feel fortunate to even share anything like a discussion with the professional performers.

Jewel has been in this business for quite a while and I am sure that she has seen ALOT. I , for one , trust her assessment and at least she has the class not to mention any names. I think they may get tired of piss poor directors that don’t have a clue how to set up a sexy scene, or how to turn on a woman or how to film it.
As for as starting and stopping there is no reason for that. The scene should flow and get hotter. The director/camera man should know the talent, know how to fuck, know how to keep up.
The males should know how to present her to the camera without being told. The director/camera man should discuss what he wants to shoot before hand.
As for lighting and the sets should all worked out before hand.
The best directors seem to do this the scenes just flow and get hotter.

Here's the problem I've ran into only by a few male talent not by all mind you. Here's an example of what happens I knew this performer when he first started he was great always had the best attitude and loved to work. I worked with him many times and hired him all the time as the years went by he began to get bitter and over worked but wouldn't turn down the money when he was in need of a serious vacation. I used him in a movie I directed when I saw the ugly change, he did nothing but blame the girl for his wood issues when it was clear she didn't do anything wrong, in fact she was a trooper and did everything in her power to help him off camera. The scene was a struggle but we all got through it but in the middle of the scene he started yelling at her telling her she couldn't keep him hard and what more could she do she was one of the top performers in the business and handled herself very professional. I asked her to take a smoke break and discussed the matter with the male talent he went on to say he was on a shoot the night before until 4am and had to shoot for me at 11am so he was burnt. The sad thing is I used him one time before this and the same excuse he used for a piss poor performance and I gave him another chance because I knew he was good as I use to work with him often. Then I shoot him again and he was an emotional mess because he was having wood issues. Like I said it had nothing to do with the girl this is just and example of how the men get burned out on fucking. You only see the edited footage not the footage of the 20min. it took him off camera to get his dick back up and starting and stopping every five min. to take a break. And now the new hot thing to do is for these over worked guys to shoot up their cocks because they are jaded and don't have much feeling so this allows them to stay hard. When it comes time to cum they have to pretty much torture their dick to cum as it's become numb. I have no insider knowledge, but from what Jewel says and what you see on screen, you can usually get some idea if a guy is really into the scene or just doing it for a paycheck.
For example, when I watch Manuel Ferrara (is that the right spelling, I keep forgetting how to spell his last name!), I get the impression that he is not bored at all, that he really enjoys his work.
I think more performers and directors should reason like JEWEL, but it seems the most important thing to a male performer is not how happy he is to be doing porn, but if he's reliable enough and doesn't pop more than once a scene.
I've heard female performers express how they hate working with new guys because they never do anything 'right'... which I guess means 'porn right'. 'Make money money go shopping'.
I've seen guys that only seem to be doing gangbangs and blowbangs and stuff like that, and while most of them don't impress me much, some I think could handle a 1-on-1 pretty well just given the chance.
Back to the first post, I've little doubt that some male actors are, indeed, masters of their body and have the ability to fuck for hours. But lets be blunt, Viagra has become almost the norm in this business and if you've ever watched any BTS footage of actual "in-scene" outtakes, you'd realize that the guys have MANY mini-breaks to regain their composure. In fact, in almost all the outtakes I've seen, the guy is pulling his pud to try and maintain an erection so there's minimal/no downtime.
Porn is a performance. There are certainly those actors/actresses who "pour themelves" into their work and it shows. But there are just as many (if not more) who are performing for the camera. It's fantasy, not reality. I admire those performers who can help "suspend disbelief" and make you THINK it's real...but porn is a performing art, not reality.

I didn't realize that viagra was the norm in porn. In fact, I didn't think any of the males used it. I was under the impression that only old people use viagra.
Viagra was released to the public in 1997 I think. So I'm betting that it became the norm in porn in...uhhhh....1997. LOL.
Seriously, I doubt anyone knows how many porn performers use Viagra out there, but the telltale signs (red face/nose) are pretty easy to spot. And even if the guys are "normally" having no issues maintaining an erection, you have to understand that this isn't the same as having a hot date with a beautiful woman. There are hundreds of articles on what goes on during a porn shoot, but the characteristics of taking Viagra when you don't "normally" need it actually help to explain a lot of the BTS footage you see in porn dvd's today.
