O.k. ladies, I was wondering which kind of penis you prefer?
One with foreskin, or one without foreskin?

My chick keeps telling me she wishes I was never circumsized.
That her other boyfriends weren't, and that they were alot wetter. And that the feeling was better.

I always use generous amounts of I.D. Glide lube. Whenever she's either dry, or is not in the mood to give me head.
Her saliva on my cock usually does the job.

I really don't like to use my own spit. I'd rather use hers. Even when I'm masturbating her Toni Ribas style she hardly ever gets wet.

But she says my dick is to dry.

Any ideas? Which kind of cock is better? Should I get foreskin restoration surgery?

I've never had an uncircumcised cock. But I've fantasized about them an awful lot. I suppose what you've never had, you want, etc.

I knew a girl who had a boyfriend who underwent circumcision as an adult, so she had it in both states. She said it was "uglier" afterward, but didn't mention that it made any functional difference.

I've never heard a woman state a preference. Every time I hear about cut vs. uncut, it's always from the homosexual arena.

Yes. Great avatar. Simple and instantly recognizable.

I wanted to have one where he popped out of the ground and shook his head free of dirt, but the animation makes it too big.

Yes but it (obviously) isn't exactly the same as a natural foreskin.

Well, obviously if circumcision wasn't done at birth, there would likely be a hell of a lot more uncut men running around and women probably would see the circumcised man as the anomaly instead of seeing the uncut man as such.

I think it depends on where you are. In the US, women are probably going to prefer cut, just because that's what they're used to and an uncut one is going to be strange to them. Elsewhere, where it isn't done much and most men are uncut, a woman would probably be surprised to see a cut cock.

The whole thing is weird anyway. Why the US continues to do this procedure for no apparent reason.

"Why the US continues to do this procedure for no apparent reason."

The trial in Kenya found a 53% reduction in new HIV infections in heterosexual men who were circumcised while the Ugandan study reported a drop of 48%.

Results last year from a study in 3,280 heterosexual men in South Africa, which was also stopped early, showed a 60% drop in the incidence of new infections in men who had been circumcised.

There are several reasons why circumcision may protect against HIV infection.

Because in African countries you have high rates of HIV infection and therefore a larger comparrison groups. Medical privacy laws might be different too, allowing a better access to data for researchers. Studies might also be tied to aid money.

There are other STD's that show a lower rate of transmission to circumcised men.

Well, now, apparently, they're saying it can reduce the risk of HIV infection. To that, I say, even if they're right and it can, I'm sure decapitation prevents brain cancer and baldness.

My question is, why did my grandmother decide to not have my dad circumsized, and then choose to circumsize his only brother, 22 years later? Then, why did my mother do the same thing, my older brother is, and my younger brother isn't?

Of course not.

What would have been strange, was if it had given you a basis for comparison with which to answer the original question.
Unless you're from Alabama, of course.

I was born in 1972 and circumcision was the norm.
I wish i had my foreskin and i believe it is unnatural to cut it off i wish i had a say in how my dick would be for the rest of my life. every now and then I think of how i have lost sensitivity and will never know what sex really feels like.

Well I look at it this way. Back then they did it freehand with a scapel, and some forceps. But today they have a cock ring that snaps over another cock ring. And in turn it kills off the foreskin. And eventually it rotts off, and it comes out in the diaper within a week or two. But the surgeons now a get an even result.

When I look at my dick, the circumcision scar is not even. It's off at an angle. Kinda like Earths orbit, going around the shaft.

I wonder if they can lighten the scar up with a laser?

On a side note, my girlfriend asked my mother why she had the circumcision surgery done to me when I was a kid. And my mom replied,"Because Jesus had it done."

So it all boils down to Jesus. My mom said, "If it was good enough for Jesus, it was good enough for me."

So there you have it. But I still wonder if girls like cut or uncut men more.

Maybe the circumcision doctors are in bed with the lube industry?

You wanna hear what's strange Krista K ? When I was 12 I was peeing in the toilet. And I heard a noise. And when I turned my head to look, one of my sisters friends was watching me. Now this chick was like 32. And she told me, why don't I play with IT? IT meaning my dick. And she said," Play with it, it'll make it bigger."

So I asked her what she meant. And she proceeded to jack me off right there after I peed. And lo, and behold it did get bigger. I'm talking a pretty hard, fast jack speed.

And yes, I came right into the toilet. She even aimed for me. And my sis started calling her, and she said, she was helping me use the bathroom. :)~

This is the part when she flushed the handle, turned around and left like nothing happened.

And to this day, I still can't get over how weird that experience was. ( I loved it.)

And no, she did not wash her hands. In fact she was eating a taco like 5 minutes after that. Licking her fingers and shit. I guess I must have given her some extra flavor.

:)~

Then you must enjoy self persecution.

I mean, I (and almost everyone else) had my umbilical cord removed and converted to just a knot at birth, but I don't go my entire life wondering what I'm missing not having a nasty shriveled tail hanging outta my gut.

There's been no definitive study that proves that the sexual experience of circumcised males is any less intense/different than that of uncut men. I've heard plenty of the "cut men are missing out on sooo much" stuff but it's all subjective and therefore completely irrelevant.

Use what you have.

Ok, ok, seriously, when I was around 10, one of my brother's friends, aged 12, cornered me in our bathroom and asked me to touch his weener, and I told him to go fuck himself and ran for safety. Yes, as much as I didn't quite grasp the meaning of "go fuck yourself", I knew it was what I wanted to say.

I agree with you on the smelly part. Some of my buddies in the Army are not cut. And they do give off some kind of weird smell. Maybe it's because they do not pull back their foreskin when they shower to clean it. They always did give me grief over my cut weiner. I guess I'll just stick to the lube, and maybe dump my girlfriend, and move to California where the chicks prefer cut men.

On a side note my girlfriend says it's GAY for men to trim down there. I mean my pubic hair. I like trimming it, and keeping it short. I keep my bush a good size, but not to big. I style it after Vince Voyeurs cock. I had been thinking about trimming for a long time. But once I saw Vince in a movie, I told myself, that's the way it would look good. So I did. But my chick still thinks it's really GAY of me to do so.

What's your opinion on guys keeping it trim? Do you think it's GAY?

This argument has already been had on here. You can probably find the thread if you go look.

I was cut for medical reasons in my thirties, and I can report that there is definitely a loss of sensitivity.

My reporting of that fact threw a few of the "cut at birth" guys into a storm of outraged denial, with all kinds of excuses why it couldn't possibly apply to them personally.

All things are relative.

Great. One person cut in their 30's for medical reasons felt a loss of sensitivity. That's empirical proof right there that uncut d00ds have it better sexually than cut losers. Yay for the uncut masses! (NOTE: THAT WAS SARCASM, NOT AN INSULT)

Seriously, I think we both hit the same point. It's relative/subjective. Therefore, it's irrelevant.

And Corben (the OP), here's a small hint. If your girlfriend compares you to other past lovers, bitches about the fact that you are cut (which you've no way to control) and tells you that you are gay because you trim your pubes...guess what?

Yup....you need a new girlfriend. This one is a bitch. Dump her ass, move on, be happy.

Yeah, I guess this thread took off in one direction. But seriously, how big can the diff be? Millions are cut and both porn and demographics have proven that those cocks work fine. And I'm sure the cut guys can confirm they have great orgasms. So if sensitivity is reduced by a tad, what's the big deal? It's not like it makes an impact on anything. And the same goes for looks which people also obsess a little too much about...

My only issue is that I think the process is unecessary and I see no reason to use huge resources and money to keep doing something for no reason.

Thanks LubeNLuv,
I showed my girlfriend this post that you made. She didn't even know I was writing on here asking for advice. And she threw a soda can at my head and stormed out of the house. ( she probably went to go look for a dude with a foreskin ) But I'm kind of glad it happened. I think it's time for a change. Oh well I used the free time to go see the movie 300. Now that movie ROCKED!!! :)~

It does not matter. It isn't necessary and the guy will be perfectly capable of making his own decision when he gets old enough to even know what's going on. It's a fuck of a lot easier to have it done later on down the road than it is to have it undone. Chop a finger off and see if it grows back if you happen to miss it.

The bottom line is that it doesn't even matter if it causes a loss of sensitivity or not. You're taking a very personal choice away from someone at birth. Doesn't that strike you as a little ummmm....wrong?

Indeed. I'm totally with you. I just tried to adress the comments from the guys who felt that they were being looked down upon as circumcised. I do think there is a loss of sensitivity, but it can't be that big. So that was what I was trying to convey.

I am, as I stated earlier, a big proponent of doing away with this practise.

A lot of this kind of stuff reminds me of the global warming debate. There's ample scientific "evidence" on both sides of the argument and, in the end, both seem to completly contradict each other and politicians get involved to try and convince you that the "other side" is wrong. Who knew science took sides?

Which means.....fuck it. You can't trust anything you read. If I truly followed everything that "science" has brought up as proof that substance X leads to cancer, my body would be in a mad race to see if I could die from thirst or hunger first, because I couldn't drink anything or eat anything without taking a risk.

Even if it had nothing to do with the spread of the AIDS virus, it only makes sense to avoid having a 'pocket' where bacteria and other viruses can be stored.

If evolution was correct, men wouldn't have nipples either. Or sinuses for that matter. There are literally dozens of organs in our bodies that are leftovers. The foreskin is likely one of them. Removing it is just one way of helping to speed up the process.

Here's a partial list of other "useless parts" of the body. Take body hair for an example....while eybrows may serve a purpose by keeping sweat out of your eyes, forearm and facial hair serves no purpose. But I don't hear anyone screaming about shaving it off. Well, maybe there's a FEW of those types lurking around this board, but you know what I mean. This list was published in Discover magazine not that long ago.

VOMERONASAL ORGAN
EXTRINSIC EAR MUSCLES (Allows some people to wiggle their ears.}
WISDOM TEETH
NECK RIB
THIRD EYELID (seen as a tiny fold in the corner of the eye, but a remnant of a third eyelid..useless now)
DARWIN’S POINT
SUBCLAVIUS MUSCLE
PALMARIS MUSCLE
MALE NIPPLES
Lactiferous ducts form well before testosterone causes sex differentiation in a fetus. Men have mammary tissue that can be stimulated to produce milk.
ERECTOR PILI (commonly seen when you get goosebumps, but in animals allows the fur to be puffed up..useless for humans)
APPENDIX
BODY HAIR
PLANTARIS MUSCLE (9% of the population has already lost this)
THIRTEENTH RIB
MALE UTERUS
FIFTH TOE
FEMALE VAS DEFERENS
PYRAMIDALIS MUSCLE
COCCYX

well not to mention that it is an unnessary practice. you don't cut off your fingers because you might get a hang nail. we are the only country that obsessively mutilates our babies. the rest of the world is uncut.
because the butchers,,,,i mean doctors in this country are more concerned with padding the bill then care of their patents. this is not the 1st world war where we are all living in a trench . we have showers and stuff like that now.

Well I have a circumsized cock and my chick absolutely loves it. Same goes for my other friends too who do have circumsized cocks and are leading a perfect sex life. So I do not think that this makes a lot of difference rather it is the mindset which plays a role regarding this aspect. Some girls might prefer the ubcircumsized ones better than the circumsized ones but there is no difference literally.

The rate of infant circumcision is actually declining in the U.S., though it still remains the most widely practiced surgical procedure in the country.
If you want to know how it all started, it happened at around the turn of the 20th-century when a group of American doctors began heralding circumcision as a cure for a littany of diseases, including a cure for masturbation. Since the foreskin is self-lubricating, it was believed that men would be less likely to masturbate without one, as well as limiting the possibility of promiscuity later. This is arguably also the religious motivations for it. Anyway, if people think that American society is puritanical now, then early 20th-century would have seemed like the Middle Ages. Parents didn't want their sons masturbating or being too sexually active, thus circumcision became popular because they believed it would prevent it. Even after it was proven that the medical arguments in favor of circumcision were all false, it still continued to be practiced just because it was already popular, or parents didn't know any better, or fathers wanted their sons to look like them, etc. Now that parents are becoming more aware, fewer are deciding to have it done.
That odor is called smegma. It is a secretion from the foreskin that contains natural antiviral and antibacterial properties. However, the odor is nonexistent as long as the foreskin is cleaned properly. But you will only likely smell it either during or after sex, which is why you clean yourself afterward.
The foreskin is not useless. It's there for a reason. For one thing, it is one of the most erogenous part of the male anatomy, containing literally thousands of pleasurable nerve endings (going back to the puritanical motivations for removing it). It also serves to shield the penis from friction, abrasion, and infection. So the notion that nature just made a mistake in giving men a foreskin is not really true.
Sorry for getting all technical, but I just remember having to research this once. Made me glad my parents let me keep what God gave me.

Nature originally gave males a foreskin as a means of protecting the penis from brush, scrapes and other forms of irritation as the penis was left exposed during normal everyday locomotion.
The invention of bipedal locomotion made this original need obsolete. Loincloths just improved on the situation. Now we've got Fruit of the Looms in hundreds of colors and styles to celebrate.
The fact that the foreskin contains nerve endings for pleasure is just an added bonus.
Still doesn't mean it's "needed," or you'd have millions of circumcised men unable to enjoy sex. Show them to me and we can have an interesting debate. Show me a definitive study that proves conclusively that circumcised males derive less pleasure than non-circumcised males from sexual activities and I'd be inclined to believe the loss of foreskin is consequential in any way. But show me a study that conclusively allows to differentiate "pleasure" from one human being to another and I'll laugh.
