From a standpoint of someone who enjoys seeing this, that, and the other, indulging on twisted perversions and pleasure myself to them, I'm for the industry. From the standpoint of someone who has thoroughly researched, studied, debated this, what you say I've branded as "black and white", from both a sociological and economic perspective.... "morally", there is no chance in hell I could get behind the industry, or say I support what it does. That's the thing. Let's not be hypocritical here; if you take pleasure in it, if you support this industry, don't pretend to have any sort of moral standing. You don't, it's BS. Admit you're a degenerate who doesn't give a shit, and enjoy. I mean, that's the theme you see porn pushing more these days anyway, right? Why continue to deny it? There are no morals in porn, nor do I claim to adhere to morality, though there is still a part of my conscience that knows through what I've come to understand, that someone truly moral, or someone who truly cared for the betterment of mankind, wouldn't support this industry. I've teetered on this fence for quite some time now, it's just that I'm still not ready to care. I'm hooked, it feels good, but at the same time, I realize how completely fucked up it is on so many levels. I'm not going to pretend that it's not. Don't kid yourself.. there are always scumbags willing to provide the masses with anything that will make them money... and the porn biz is loaded with scumbags... People don't get into the porn biz to further mankind... |

Perhaps compassion and humanity would be better terms? That way, if it's consensual and pleasurable, with everyone on the same page and being respected, then if it doesn't float your boat you don't have to be against it. Surely dismissing an entire genre simply because you judge it according to its lowest common denominator is counterproductive if what you're really going for is improvement of mankind (or, humankind - or are you just talking about the men who perform/watch?). Trying to highlight problems, improve industries, and generally make progress by supporting the people who are doing a good job and have a conscience is likely a more productive route to an improved situation for everyone. |

Men hocked loogies, spit them into gaping assholes and formed single file lines as techno music pumped out the speakers. Meanwhile, Max was enforcing a "one shoe removal only" policy as the scenes became more vengeance and piss-vomit based. Rocco's big toe was everywhere, Jules Jordan won awards for grainy, colorless videos, and Extreme Productions pushed all kinds of inflammatory garbage. This pattern progressed during the new millennium until we had titles such as "White Slave Traders" on the shelves of every adult video store. Bi-sexual men with shallow gene-pools were more than happy to take their issues out on the viewer via the woman they were degrading in the films. Stepping on a woman's head became progressively trendy. While there were some gems to be found throughout the evolution of this media, it seems that the industry has abandoned most of the good stuff. Companies are more concerned with being "evil". Companies took names like Combat Zone, Mercenary Productions, or Lethal Hardcore in an effort to switch from sexy to hostile. MILF, tranny, glory-hole, daddy fucking daughter, mother and daughter porn, big mean black guy invades your house and rapes your son...I wonder where it's going and why. I wonder if it sells, or if it's just good for conditioning the people into accepting a hell on earth. |

He is simply the product of a very slick and deceptive marketing machine over at AVN. Bullshit over substance and ability or talent. The AVN awards are as rigged and phony as an Iranian election. I recently read Jules Jordan's statement on a webmasters site, where he declared himself a "LEGEND". Oh paleeze... I'm still laughing at that one... Jules care to explain that comment to everyone? Perhaps a little to full of yourself? Just sayin... 2. Bisexual men taking there issues out on women? Hmmm... Maybe that is why gonzo is what it is... violent and degrading towards women. It's the opposite of erotic.. You could be on to something here. All these gonzo guys seem so angry... 3. Sexy to hostile... no one can argue with that... Is this a direct reflection of our young peoples values these days? 4. Conditioning for a hell on earth? Certainly I think there has been a dramatic shift from the erotic to the freak show atmosphere that porn has become... It certainly doesn't promote healthy and equal sexual relationships between men and woman.. that is for sure. It desensitizes people... Edited by - You Wish on 5/27/2010 11:18:21 AM |
