I agree. This may start a war, but I personally believe that midget porn borders on paedophilia than 'teen sex'. With teenie movies, it's all a fantasy. Wouldn't you rather a paedophile watch something with young girls and keep it as fantasy, as opposed to not having that porn outlet and raping a child?

I'd also just like to add -
With as many enemies as the porn industry already has, why on earth would they knowingly "endorse" child molesters?
Personally, I think that many of the people who run the porn business are clueless as to what really turns people on. They're pure businessmen. They watch sales numbers and trends and tailor their marketing to follow whatever that is. Many of the people who market the product probably don't even watch porn themselves. It really is one of the few explanations I can think of as to why a lot of porn is so generic and homogeneous.
So. Even if the "schoolgirl" image does appeal to the pedophile, I wouldn't even really expect a lot of the people who actually make the porn to really realize it or even care. It sells and it isn't specifically illegal and that's where their concern about it ends.

This depends on the girls, the movies and the circumstances. My danish girlfriend started with 15 ( this was legal in DK in the mid-80s ), she isnt a "wreck" at all, but a teacher in a private school.
So called "schoolgirls" over 18 ( even over 15 ) are of absolutely NO interest to pedophiles. Even girls at the age of 12 are uninteresting to most of them. The main interest of pedos is in the age range between 5-10. You can read this in every scientific book about childporn.

Yes it depends on the girl, but a significant percentage wouldn't be nearly mature enough to handle something like a pornographic career at 15. And if something is gonna destroy the lives of half of those who embark on it, that's a pretty good argument for regulation. I think even 18 is borderline, there are a lot of young porn girls who end up as drug addicts, on the streets or in a morgue. But 18 is the age of majority, then you are an adult by legal definition and that implies being subject to all freedoms and responsibilities that come with being an adult. At 15 you're not a child, but you're neither an adult (unless you live in Uzbekistan) and do not have the responsibilities of an adult. Then it is legit to take measures to protect you from yourself.
The global porn industry isn't a girl scout camp, 15 year olds would be eaten alive.

Does sears catalogue endorse pedophiles/molesters?
How about Ralph's grocery store, do they endorse pedophiles/molesters because they shop there?
What about ABC dedicating so much time to young women's gymnastics when so many other sporting events are regularly ignored? Do they endorse pedophiles/molesters?
A lot of times these s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d point questions come from personal demons that we all do not share. Sharing your guilt is good therapy but this issue was already hashed out in the U.S. Supreme Court. Making porn can get you a death sentence in some countries based on this same type of "cause and effect" logic.
As others have said it's more a marketing phase than anything else because you're dealing with a dollar driven business. There are videos that try to cover every conceivable legal angle of profit and that will always be the bottom line.......Just my opinion

Yes. But is this specifically because they were in porn or is it from a general lack of being in a (somewhat) controlled environment such as college as is generally the norm for people this age? You can show up on a porn set stoned but you probably wouldn't want to show up for a college class stoned out of your mind. And college campuses are generally safe places where things are kept under a reasonable degree of control. Girls who go into porn tend to be away from home and any kind of adult supervision. They make large sums of money (for their age) and there's nobody to watch what they spend it on. I think most young people all the way up to 25 or so would probably do poorly in such a situation.
I used to know a guy who was 20 whose father was very wealthy. The guy could have anything he wanted and his dad didn't care what he did. He snorted so much coke he probably didn't know where he was half the time. Fucked a different girl every night. Sometimes 2 or 3. He eventually settled down but he was completely out of control for a long time.
True. But 18 is only 3 years away from 15. 18 year old girls probably think they're more mature than 15 year olds but in reality, if they are, not by very much. It has more to do with the way they're raised than it does their age. 18 year olds can be very mature (if somewhat inexperienced). The ones who aren't tend to be the ones whose parents treated them like preschoolers until they turned 18 and then released them to the sharks on the day of their 18th birthday. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that a lot of the girls who go into porn (In America, at least) weren't allowed to do anything in their teen years and going into porn when they hit 18 is their way of rebelling. I've noticed that (for whatever reason) European porn girls tend to act more mature for a given age than American porn girls. Of course, it's possible they're just good actresses. I don't know.

I honestly don't know who it appeals to. If I had to guess, I'd say there are probably a lot of borderline pedos watching the Max Hardcore style schoolgirl stuff. Are they genuine pedophiles substituting legal material for illegal material? I don't know. I don't think you can really say that they definitely aren't. Drug addicts will attempt to substitute stuff that's easier to get (Generally, OTC stuff) for the harder stuff they really want in times of scarcity.
But honestly, I don't really see a problem with this kind of porn as long as the people involved with shooting it are legal. Even if a particular viewer is a pedo, schoolgirl porn didn't make him or her a pedo any more than violent action movies make murderers kill people. If they're pedos, they were pedos before they watched schoolgirl porn. Personally, I'd rather have them watching something like this than harming children. I guess in a way, that would be allowing them to feed their fantasies. But in the end, pedophilia probably isn't a "curable" illness any more than homosexuality could be cured if it was considered harmful and socially unacceptable. The best that can be hoped for is that pedophiles can find ways to cope with whatever it is that drives them.
But as you say, the "schoolgirl" thing isn't really pedophilia in the strictest sense of the word. Pedophiles are generally attracted to very young, prepubescent children. Not teenagers. Their used to be a term called ebophilia (I think it was) that was used instead of pedophilia when the object of a person's attraction was a teenager, rather than a young child. I think that term may be obsolete now but that would be more in line with the schoolgirl thing. I do think there's a line there. Real pedos always have a preferred age and it doesn't seem to be anything post puberty. Obviously, it's still socially unacceptable even if they're attracted to kids 13 and over (Which is what I personally think the schoolgirl stuff is portraying).
And I do think it's probably generally a bad idea for the porn industry to be making this stuff in the current climate. All it can do is raise the ire of people who hate porn anyway. I generally don't have a problem with porn pushing limits but this is one you really don't want to push too far.

Dither:"Yes it depends on the girl, but a significant percentage wouldn't be nearly mature enough to handle something like a pornographic career at 15."
I am not talking about the girls who arent mature enough, but about the girls who are. And what means " a pornographic career ".
If a girl films her private sex with her boyfriend and distributes the videotapes, is this a "pornographic career" ?
Dither:"And if something is gonna destroy the lives of half of those who embark on it, that's a pretty good argument for regulation."
I have nothing against regulation, but the age of 18 isnt static. An 18 year old girl in 1979 isnt the same as an 18 year old girl today. Girls now reach the puberty 2-3 years earlier.
Dither:"of young porn girls who end up as drug addicts, on the streets or in a morgue."
Isnt this a cliche ? Ive heard these rumours about Amsterdam in the late 90s too - Ive researched 8 years into this. Drug use was even lower as outside the porn biz.
( Excluding harder porn: Animal or SM ).
Why not having a divided minimum age ?
15 for normal porn and 18 for real hardcore.
"At 15 you're not a child, but you're neither an adult (unless you live in Uzbekistan) and do not have the responsibilities of an adult. " Until 2003, you had the "full sexual majority" with 15 in DK.
"The global porn industry isn't a girl scout camp, 15 year olds would be eaten alive."
I think its much more dangerous, that 6 year olds play in horror movies. Nobody should be eaten alive, porn or horror or whatever.
But the "18" minimum age is totally outdated.

Maybe the FBI claims this, but no serious scientist researching in this field.
I can especially recommend Quayle/Taylors:"Child Pornograpy on the Internet".
Why should they watch 18-year olds, if they can - sadly as it is - watch real cp in the net ?
RP wrote:

I was in the lions cave a few times, talking with pedophiles. They even have formed a political "party" here in the NLs.
But I only talked to them, nobody showed me any illegal materials or even talked about this in detail ( they arent stupid ).
Because they knew, if they had showed me terrible stuff, I had forwarded this to the police. I only talked about the danish 15-material and they laughed about that.
They arent even interested in 12-year old girls, its so sick...........
RP wrote:

Yes and no. What yesterday was legal in Europe, was illegal in the States as early as 1979, and can be illegal in Europe tomorrow.
The next US president can raise the minimum age from 18 to 21, you can only buy a beer with 21, so you shouldnt play in porn with 18, or ? You can find reasons for everything.
Former northern european countries didnt passed cp laws until 79, because they saw it as a "dark" part of the "free press".
RP wrote:
"pedophilia probably isn't a "curable" illness any more than homosexuality could be cured if it was considered harmful and socially unacceptable."
Most of the pedophile can control their desires. But they need psychological help and medicine. But governments cutted back the financial support.
RP wrote:
"ebophilia (I think it was) that was used instead of pedophilia when the object of a person's attraction was a teenager, rather than a young child."
Thats true. And "Ebophilia" is a term almost totally unknown in Europe, because sex with real Teenagers was legal in almost all countries. ( starting with 12 here in the NLs, at the end with 15 in DK )
I hate this "Max Hardcore" Stuff, because its degrading, mysoginistic etc. And because sometimes its just idiotic. In one euroversion he said something like: " And your 9 year old sister likes Barbies too ?"
I dont know, if this was the german translation, but I fear not. OK, it isnt illegal fucking a 18-year old girl, who looks like she is 16, its not illegal too, that he talks about her little sister enjoying barbie dolls. But its really a very poor taste. In my opinion, this is much, much more dangerous as a 15-year old girl enjoying sex before a camera. Max Hardcore maybe thinks, that he can interest pedos with this stuff, so your assumption is traceable, or he only wants to provoke his viewers.
But in general, the danger doesnt lies in the fake schoolgirls, but in the talk and in the degradation. Every gonzo porn made by women haters, with actors above 18, is much more dangerous, as if 15 or 16 year olds play in a porn movie under very good conditions.
Its a fatal error, to treat the collectors, who enjoy porn with 15-17 girls, as "child porn" consumers, like the US and now many european countries do it now.

Porn can be addictive, like alcohol or heroin. It is a fault, that the porn industry denies this. Every substance and every thing can be addictive. Porn, horror movies, news, music. Several thousand patients are treated in Europe, because of porn addiction.
Some scientific books were published too.
You will not deny sex addiction too, or ?

caroline-NL - First, I'd like to say that your posts are interesting but I really wish you would quote properly, as it can be very confusing to read the way you're doing it. If you don't know how, just click "Edit" on any post with proper quoting and you can see how it's done.
Maybe because real CP is illegal and people who deal in it can be traced? I don't know. There are always reasons why people do what they do.
Of course. All porn could be made illegal in any country, anytime. And I don't think it's that much of a stretch to imagine it happening. Even in the US. Maybe especially in the US. Most people love to talk about freedom but they don't practice what they preach. I'm not in favor of Child pron but even I can see where people's aversion to it is being used to manipulate the laws against all porn. Many laws against CP are well-meaning but they can be used manipulatively by people who want to curtail free speech altogether.
Well, I think that all has to do with public opinion. People don't want them to be able to control themselves because that proves that it's a manageable problem and goes against what many people believe. I don't know if they can or can't be successfully treated but I do know that you never know if you don't try.
I know that term only because it came up in some psychology class I had to take in college. As you say, it's a rather obscure term that isn't in wide use today. At least, not in the mainstream. Maybe it's more widely used amongst professional psychologists.
I don't really think Max's stuff is much more misogynistic than a lot of other porn. Although I suppose it can be argued that other pornographers are copying Max's style because there was a period in which he was quite successful.
But I fall back on my old argument that a person is only as degraded as they feel. And by that, I mean the performers themselves. Not the viewers. Viewers who don't like Max's style shouldn't watch Max's porn and then complain about it. He's well known enough for what he is that you don't have to watch it in order to get a good idea of what he's about. I DO think his stuff is damaging to the porn industry overall. You just don't make that kind of stuff without consequences. Max himself has made his mark and probably plenty of money. But the consequences to the industry could be far greater than any he will ever personally suffer.
But anyway. I don't get the "It's degrading to women" thing. No. It's offensive to some people but how can it be degrading to all femininity when some women enjoy being treated that way? I know they're a minority but they still exist. Should their opinion be disregarded simply because a majority of women find it offensive?
Anyway, not to get too far OT but if you want to talk about degrading, I would argue that the men in porn are far more degraded than the women. All they are to most viewers is a cock. That's it. Many viewers don't want to see their faces (Even if they're eating pussy. Which I'll never understand), hear them. A dildo could substitute for a man in most scenes. That's what they are to the average male viewer. A living dildo that doesn't speak, has no thoughts or emotions and does nothing but plunge in and out of a hole. At least the director is usually interested in what the women are thinking or feeling, shows their faces and other parts of their bodies other than their genitals or parts they can't avoid showing in order to show the genitals. If I was the type to think something was degrading to all people in a certain category, I would feel that porn degrades men much more than women.
It isn't just poor taste though. It's exactly the kind of thing anti-porn people get up in arms about because it's what they've been saying all along. They've always argued that porn turns people into rapists and child molesters and here Max is giving them a perfect example to hold up in court and say "See! What did we tell ya?". That's the real issue. I really don't care what he says as long as it's only role-playing. It's not hurting anyone and it isn't real. But it's the image that it casts on all adult porn that matters more than just the fact that he's saying something that's disgusting. It's the kind of thing the industry just can't afford at this juncture in time. It doesn't matter if the girls are legal. It's what people will think. Appearances are everything.
I don't know what Max thinks. I've done some research on him and read stuff here on ADT written by performers who've worked with him. Some people say he's a pretty nice guy in RL and others say he's just like he is on camera. I kind of tend to believe the performers who have worked with him because the others could have some kind of personal grudge against him or just not like his image.
Well, you're not going to find very much support for 15 or 16 year olds in porn, in any capacity or under any conditions. And even 18 year olds portraying, say, a 15 year old is dangerous territory. It would just be better for the industry, as a whole, if they voluntarily stayed away from anything that even suggests or hints at performers being underage. You can't fight public opinion.
Well, that's just the way it is. In America, at least, 18 has been the minimum legal age for some time and I personally don't see any need for it to be any lower. 18 is young enough. Possibly too young in some cases.
I do think there's a difference between someone who's attracted to 16 year olds and someone who's attracted to 8 year olds. Most reasonable people would agree. But not everyone is reasonable and the way I see it, with so many people with such a negative opinion of porn in general, we're lucky to have access to it at all. Pushing limits isn't the way to go when the very right to view porn at all is being aggressively challenged on many fronts.

How can you make a law that distinguish on an individual level between those who are mature enough and those who aren't? There has to be a limit somewhere.
This is getting a little sophistic; I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a girl under 18 making a private sex tape. BUT if the scene is opened for the global porn industry to start casting/using 15 year-olds in porn movies, I see a lot of young/immature people ruining their lives. Once your tape is in the stores or on the 'net it's there for all to see indefinitely, then it's too late to regret. And I don't think most 15 year-olds are mature enough to make an informed choice and understand the consequences of being what is ultimately sex workers.
I'm not talking about sexual maturity, I mean they aren't mentally mature enough to realize what comes with entering the porn business. Not playing around with a camcorder, but entering a major global industry.

Caroline you are falling into the trap that the anti-porn religious right has baited for you, look it up in reputable medical journals porn is NOT an addiction, nor is sex, nor is gambling they are compulsive behavior but they are NOT addictions and no reputable medical or mental health professional will tell you they are.

Amazingly, I agree with Mike. Porn is not really an addiction any more than anything you feel compelled to do is. Otherwise, if you felt a compulsive need to play with your hair, you'd be addicted to playing with your hair and would then need to go into rehab for it so someone could pronounce you "cured" of it.

back to the topic:
the simple answer is YES.
fight it.
we're all sick fucks in one way or another. though i'd never cross the 18 years old line (not only for legal reasons), but the older i get ...(40 now)... i can't get over the attraction to all the teenybopperclub, 18yearsold, barelylegal, etc. type of stuff out there. it's great to watch. and we have an awesome freshman class of new starlets this year. some really good ones. however, i still love watching the milfhunter, momsteachingteens, etc type of stuff. mmmm, MILFs. and hell, i'll pick up TS vid now & then as well. so, which classification of sick fuck do i fit into?
i wouldn't necessarily say porn endorses pedophiles/molesters but it sure gets their fires burning hotter jacking to endless scenes of Who's Your Daddy? and the like. (you might have used encouraged instead)

Pedophiles do not control their impulses. They cannot distinguish or chose to ignore the line between fantasy and reality. They would act on those impulses regardless of if there was barely legal porn or not. It may be neurological defect or it may be brain chemistry. Many molesters got that way due to personal experience or trauma. Islamic countries have just as many sexual assault and child molestation occurrences as the West. You definitely can't blame those crimes on porn proliferation.

I'm attracted to the teeny stuff, although I'm now in my 40s. Casting Couch, Teenybopper, Pure18, NAUniversity etc. When I was in my young adulthood I was a small man, immature and sexually inexperienced. A dork, basically. I probably still am. I think my fantasy ideals froze then.
It isn't pedophilia. These are sexually aware women. I don't like the pigtails and the braces because I think it's pandering to a fetish, and it makes my natural, if somewhat retarded, attraction feel all wrong. But I like the clean fresh look of a college age women, I like their energy and optimism, I like their possibility. And I like it when their breasts defy gravity.
Porn eats its talent so fast. Too many of the videos of older women feature scenarios that are too abusive, too humiliating. The breasts have been augmented in unappealing ways, the tattoos start to occupy too much skin space. But maybe that's just my mostly unexamined prejudice; I almost exclusively stick to the young girl stuff.
There has to be a cut-off point and 18 works well. But everyone is sexually aware before that age. The majority of people are sexually experienced before that age. Youth is the time when sexuality has the strongest pull for us, so of course porn is going to play with boundaries there. Many times I wish I could let my desire for the 18-24 year old wash away, not because I think it's wrong or because it's some marker for potential criminality, but because the older I get the more pathetic this focus on youth makes me feel. I think: I have become a creep. Where's my raincoat? But I think this stuff has me tight around the ankle by the grip of its pink nail-polished fingers.
I won't watch most Euro stuff, even though some girls featured in them are beyond beautiful. I like to hear the girls speak, so I can get some sense of their personality, even if it is a performance. There's too much possibility for abusive situations and underage recruitment in the European context, and any sense of that ruins the fantasy for me.

That may be another unexamined prejudice. I guess that I have a belief that in many of its legalities Eastern Europe is presently the wild west. I've read stories of women - even married women - who find themselves locked in rooms in foreign countries. I've started watching a couple episodes where a innocent-looking, conceivably underage, gorgeous but unspeaking girl in a depressingly drab room is choked by a big hairy dangerous-looking man until her face is covered in tears and mascara and spit and snot. That was just in the first few minutes, and I said to myself that I can't watch this, and clicked it shut. So I haven't watched any since, and could be wrong in my perceptions of Euro porn overall. I'm talking specifically about the intersection of Eastern European and teenie porn. I need the North American stuff with English speaking performers. The little chats at the beginning, although often ruined by the irritating natures of the interviewers, humanize the scenes for me.
We all have different boundaries. Debating this one may drive this thread off its original question.

That sounds like a typical Max Hardcore scenario. One of the more notorious American pornographers.
I'll take the point though that there is more scope for criminality in Eastern Europe compared with the US.
Poorer countries have less resourses to spend on tackling crimes based around people trafficking, forced prostitution, rape, paedophilia etc...
I can understand why people feel safer with US porn. We are familiar with the actors and 2257 laws are prominently displayed on every adult movie.
Eastern Europe (i'm talking Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria) by comparison is more corrupt and legally lax.

I'm not certain, but I thought most predators are attracted to youths for their associated vulnerabilites, not necessarily because they look young, and that an 18 year old or 30 somthing would perhaps be more favorable, if they could be just as easily abused.
Whatever the case, simply seeing the imagery portrayed, would fail to make the adaquate endorsement, and one need only read the specific interests advocated up and down these boards, to find people bitching about inaccuracies that fail to live up to their carnal niche
I expect molesters need to be convinced that what they're seeing is real, for it to endorse their sick fantasies, and associated mindsets, and that other than upon the apathetic conditioning of the general population, nothing short of authentic kiddie porn actually reinforces, or will suffice the predatory mind of a pedophile.

This sounds a little like hair-splitting to me. In some european countries, gambling is accredited as an addiction. Sex and porn too, even if the health systems dont want to pay for the consequences. There are some german studies about porn addiction, and these scientists have as few in common with the anti-porn religous right as I.
Mike, if someone rents 50 (!) porn dvds for a weekend, every week, and just cant stop, if this isnt an addiction, what is it ?
OK, they dont will die, if they are banned from sex shops ( almost impossible to do this , much more difficult as ban excessive gamers from casinos ), but they too have withdrawal symptons, shaking, depression, etc.
These cases are rare, but they do exist.
And its stupid to neglect this.
This has nothing to do with anti-porn activism, I am a pro-porn activist, but I also see the dangerous side effects porn CAN have for some people.

^ My argument for 18 over 15/14 has got nothing to do with child porn, it has to do with letting people get into a situation most of them aren't mentally mature enough to handle. It's not legal to send 14 year-olds into war either, or let them pilot a passenger jet, or have them operating as police officers, or bartenders, or chauffeurs etc.etc.

Caroline read my previous posts in this thread not one single accredited medical or mental health professional recognizes porn as an addiction it doesn't pass the tests believe it or not it is NOT an addiction nor is gambling nor is bingo
addiction is a serious illness with physical manifestations caffiene, nicotine, heroin, alcohol are all addictions
to call gambling or sex an addiction is like saying people who frequently wash their hands are addicted to hand washing...its psychobabble used to lead the sheeple
dont be a sheeple

Sex and gambling are recognized psychological addictions. Those afflicted actually do get an unnatural high which they compulsively attempt to satisfy.

well gee I guess you know more than the medical professionals Im done arguing this if someone wants to be an idiot they have that God given right

"Addiction is a medical term," said Dr. Stuart Gitlow, a board certified expert in addiction and forensic psychiatry. "And there is no research to indicate anyone suffers from porn addiction. There is nothing to suggest that this is a complex physiological disease state akin to alcoholism or other substance use disorders," he explained.
"The idea of 'porn addiction' has never been accepted by the psychiatric, psychological, marital counseling or sexological professions," added Dr. Marty Klein, a certified sex therapist and sociologist who has written six books and 100 articles. "There is no DSM-IV or ICD-9 (that is professional) diagnosis of "porn addiction." Just because people feel they are addicted doesn't mean they are."

Yeah, an 'unnatural high'. Um, ok. And sex is 'unnatural'. What an upside-down world our political winds create for a moment.
Earth to little guy - 'menschliche, alzu menschliche' - we human beings are the "unnatural animal". We invent our definitions of ourselves. Everything we value most is a fake. All our definitions of the 'natural' are also 'fake'.
Look at you, trying to pull one over on us.
If you've grown weak and tired of the challenges of civilization, if you want to live as the other animals do, entirely natural and unconscious, maybe you should find a cave somewhere and live the life of Polyphemus.

This is a good point that should be acknowledged. And it applies to far more than just child molesters. It also applies to most forms of criminal behavior. The people who tend to commit crimes usually can't control their impulses the way everyone else does. That is, they get something in their head and they'll never be satisfied until they do it. It could be anything. Any kind of behavior.

As Mike says, it's a compulsive behavior. But sex is a normal activity and the desire for it is a normal desire. Who is to say how much sex is too much? Who is to say even that an obsession with sex is abnormal? We are animals. If you look at the natural world, all the other animals appear to be "addicted" (if that's what you want to call it) to sex as well.
The drive is natural. It's as natural as the desire to eat food or drink water or breathe air. We're supposed to want to have sex as much as we can. If it wasn't meant to be, it wouldn't happen. Now of course, you can eat too much. You can even drink too much water. Anything can be unhealthy.
As far as the "dangerous side effects of porn for some people", well, it happens but so what? Porn is basically harmless to most people. We watch it, we jerk off and we go about our business. If someone watches porn and gets crazy ideas, why would you blame porn for their abnormalities? It's like the guy who tried to kill Reagan because he was obsessed with Jodi Foster. How could the people who made the film Taxi Driver have known that? Should they not have made the film because there really are whackos who might see it and do something crazy? Was it their fault? Or, is it just as likely he'd have been inspired to do something equally bizarre by some book he read or a song he heard or the voices in his head?
Porn is not going to have serious detrimental effects on people with a firm grip on reality. For those who don't have a firm grip on reality, they might do anything at any time for any reason or none at all.

blowfish and RandomPrecision I'm calling bullshit on Pedophiles can not control their impulses. Even if you get a 100 doctor I still call Bullshit.
Pedophiles/molesters cross paths with children all the time without having sex with them. Those they do have sex with are carefully plan to avoid being caught.
The reason they indulge their perversion and fantasy is they think they can get away with it. The same with men risking families and careers having homosexual sex in public restrooms. The fact is in our puritan based society most people indulge their perversions and fantasies because they think they won't be caught. People will risk humiliation and ridicule to jail to indulge their perversion and fantasy.
I don't trust anything these doctors say. They all have a social, religious, or morale agents they want to promote with anti-porn at the top of that list.
The person caught who is losing families and careers and/or jail time will grasp at any reason for their behavior that doesn't include it being there fault.
These doctors provide them with a reason that promotes their agenda.

I said they were impulsive. Not stupid. Although I'm sure there are many of those, too.
Well, again, this is true with all criminals. They all think they won't get caught. If they knew they'd get caught, they probably wouldn't do it at all. Or they'd just be more careful. But this still doesn't mean they aren't impulsive.
I didn't say it wasn't their fault. Just that it's an illness like any other. A person who is ill usually knows it and they can seek help. IOW, it's their fault for not seeking proper treatment before their impulses take over. More later.

I still call bullshit. Nothing drives them that doesn't drive everyone else. And everyone is very sorry they were caught.
This is nothing new it's been going on from the beginning of time. For 400 yrs in this country it went on and wasn't discussed or acknowledge as happening.
It was worse on the child than on the molester. The child was shun from other children because they might tell the secrets of sex. Even though their playmate might be being molested too.
Until recently there was no laws against it. The first laws treated it as minor offense with little or no punishment.
The stiff prison sentences came from the Pedophile witch hunt we're been on.
The supreme court will eventually over turn these sentences. The punishment has to be proportional to the crime. Your outrage is not a factor.
There are many things that will traumatizes and brutalize a child that are worse than sex. That are not against the law that people don't want to talk about.

Shagdog, I had to read your post several times to make sure I wasn't misunderstanding you.
Your defence of pedophilia is fucked up and creepy. You can try and claim you weren't defending them but your last post makes where you're coming from pretty clear: your transparent attempts to denigrate the damage done by molestation is deeply disturbing.

Yeah, at this point I think I'm going to close this topic down. Shagdog, I have to concur with BlackSix, you're not sounding particularly lucid and the argument you're making in the latest post goes against pretty much everything I believe in, and beyond that is the kind of thing that ADT cannot possibly be construed to endorse by allowing the discussion to continue. I can only see flamewars and worse coming if I allow it to continue.
So thus, the topic ended.
