I dont think someone getting down to their natural form (naked) and doing what nature intended us to do (sex) makes them less of a being. I think porn girls are great for their confidence and believe in what they do for our entertainment and we all enjoy their work then we should personally consider them as lesser beings or social outcasts. We must support their work and profession for equal treatment. They should also be accorded benefits such as health care and pension. And be accepted normally in society without prejudice.

I would assume that you would have to have a high level of "i don't give a fuck" in order to to do porn.
Most probably felt that no one gave a fuck about them. No true love or family who really cared.
All women are valuable but are devalued by men with low values. These men want to break women down in order for the woman to meet his low standards. He's not able to stand up and do what it takes in order to aid a woman in reaching her highest potential.
Would you like to eat a hamburger that has been passed around the room unwrapped by 23 different men who all have penis and ass bacteria on their hands ?
It depends on how hungry you are.
You want to eat a burger that was made with love and care if you care. If you don't care, you can go on and eat the pussy of a cheep hooker and kiss her all in the mouth after she's had a long hard day of work.
All Women are valuable.

I personally don't think that working in porn devalues a woman.

Not on it's own; however there are A LOT of porn scenes that specifically are done to devalue the woman as much as possible; and they sell well as there are far too many men who want to see this (just check out how many threads here are dedicated to women being hurt, injured, suffering, etc).
So, often it does devalue a woman, at least for that specific scene she is doing.

I think it's sexist to focus only on women and not on guys or on porn-fans in porn.
If porn-sex causes devaluation of people, then it devalues everybody involved in it, including the porn guys who are having sex, and the viewers who are watching porn-scenes.
Only hypocrite porn-fans would look down on porn-women, while enjoying their porn-scenes. Because without porn-fans, there wouldn't be any market for porn, and there wouldn't be any porn-stars either. Porn-fans are an essential part of the porn-market, which makes them just as responsible for porn as anybody else.
This isn't so much an issue of women's devaluation as it is an issue of hypocrisy among some porn-fans.

Sex has its hygiene and safety etiquette so comparison of a woman with ham burger do not make sense here..unlike a burger a woman is not a piece of dead minced meat...

There are bondage and fantasy porno but I am against anything which is specifically degrading to women or portrays them as lesser beings...
Porn is an acceptable social industry and many women enjoy working in it..there are plenty of educated women into porn as well...we should not stigmatize or discriminate porn actors as social out casts

I am not sure why you directed this at me? I never said I stigmatize anyone; I was simply saying that some porn scenes are specifically designed to devalue a woman into nothing more than a "hole". There is plenty of porn that is not like that and empowering for everyone. One of the problems is too many porn guys really don't have any respect for women and it shows in their performances.

I was going to go into the fact that the consumer who watches and enjoys this kind of sex work is deprived in some way. We were pulled into this world and stayed attached due to us lacking something in the real world. But i figured that most will not enjoy looking into our own mirrors that deep, so i was vague with my descriptions.
The comparison is beautiful.
It would be the same if i compared her to a piece of ripe fruit. Humans, we eat each other. We devour/use each other for our energy. We get/take something out of every one we come into contact with. We would just like to see these interactions be described in fancier words to mask our animalistic behaviors/nature from ourselves.

Respective is relative to what one wants. Many girls get off to rough stuff and bondage. Using their desired sexual acts to degrade them or treat them as "holes" is what seriously disturbed me...I have often felt that some male performers have an outright criminal mentality. They do not get off on the plain simple exercise of giving a girl what she wants instead they enjoy being sadistic or inhumane in the name of sexual pleasure.

Why doesn't anyone ask this about men who work in porn? Just the question alone is sexist. Women who work in the sex industry deserve respect for providing a valuable service. And I feel the same about the men. They have certainly provided me with endless hours of enjoyment.

"rough stuff and bondage", which is a common interest and many people love, is not what I was referring to. Stop trying to twist my words please.
I do agree, and most people can see this, that a significant amount of porn males look at these women about as worthless as possible.

Because men can wipe off but women have to wipe out.
men and Women do not have the same sexual function and are not looked at the same for the same reasons.
Amazing that you see "Hate" in that post at all.
abstinence is great, but what makes you say this ?

I never been to an abstinence program. Didn't even know they existed. Interesting.
Women can deal with their man being liked and licked more than men can deal with their women being licked and liked. Women are just more mature and calm about the situation. Overall.
However, if the world wasn't sick, we wouldn't have porn. It fills a void created by devastation and the destruction of the family break down and building up of an artificial world. It's money over life in this world. Women are the most Valuable Beings on this planet. But things are not right.

They "had" very strong families ?
When and what happened ?
and....are live orgies that are unfilmed/not recorded considered to be porn ?

I'm referring to ancient Romans.
The Romans had lots of pictorial and written pornography. The term predates film by centuries for a reason. ;)

It is indeed sad. Society does a number on some people. We can simply answer the OP with a loud NO. It does not. Moreover, the question is insulting, dull, and misogynistic.

I was just watching Asa Akira's DP scene from Asa Akira is Insatiable 2 the other day, and it is one rough scene. Asa gets her nose pinched while being facefucked, she gets slapped, choked, spat on, and fucked hard in the ass. She repeatedly calls herself a "slut" and a "whore" and says things like, "Use me! Use my fucking holes!"
My impression of Asa after that scene, after that entire movie, is that she is one of the most bad-ass motherfuckers to ever shoot porn. She was a bold, confident women with perverted appetites and urges all her own and she fearlessly shared those with the world. She and Mason became personal heroes of mine. So just because a woman is treated as "just a hole" in a scene, the result doesn't have to devaluing or dis-empowering. There isn't a strict dichotomy between porn that is degrading and porn that is empowering. Sometimes it can be both.

why the sadness ?
there are many different ways to answer a question and not everyone sees everything the same.
Some questions cause people to look at themselves in ways they'd rather not. The problem isn't in the questions or the truth that answers them.
I say that boldly facing reality aids in bringing up ones self esteem.
I'm also saying that ones animalistic side should be accepted and understood. Supressing who we are so that we can be more acceptable in a sick society has made society sicker.
I also say that ones animal nature should be disciplined and well trained.

Value is all in the eye of the beholder, and so I think for many people the fact that someone did porn does devalue them. It seems to be the real world experience of many stars after they retire, for example, that they can't get jobs or meaningful second careers because their porn past haunts them. Plus, like prostitutes, porn stars are often targets for rape-creeps and similar who clearly seem to think of them as nothing but objects.
Not that that I'm saying this is how it should be, just more this is how it often is. And sexist as society is, those pressures tend to fall more on the heads of the female rather than the male stars.

^ What's the correct term when you talk about the thing that's not coming from the outside perspective (view of the beholder), but is inherent to every human? Worth? self-worth? I understand how "value" is also an economic term and thus indeed something where it can be debated about it changing according to different perspectives.

Comparing people to things or animals is what the Nazis did to reduce empathy and sympathy among the German people, so that they would murder millions of innocent civilians without a second thought, during World War II.
It's a tactic to dehumanize people. Which is about as unethical as unethical can get. People, who do it knowingly, are monsters, in my opinion.

This isn't a metaphor. It's a lesson in history of where this kind of thinking leads.
People, who don't learn from history, are bound to repeat it.

If that's the issue I'd better gone fishing for answers elsewhere. But fisherman never really devalues fish if the fish does not suck. Think about that.

The problem with comparing women to fish, or animals, or things is that this is what devalues them in your eyes and in the eyes of people who think like this.
And this isn't just a philosophical issue. There are plenty of people in society who commit violence against women, and even murder them. And sex workers are often more vulnerable to such violence than other women.
That's why I'm so against dehumanizing sex-worker-women by comparing them to fish or anything else that's not human. Such comparisons is what nurtures the violence and the hate against such women.

Fish, fruit, animals, are all alive. They have life and life is valuable. Humans don't value life, humans devour life. They suck the energy from each other physically and mentally and in any other type of way they can. People are sheep. Walking talking meat bags who need to be lifted up to a higher level of existence, but they are too busy "pleasing" themselves with the life that the planet has to offer. All life is valuable. But since we all live in this bucket of shit, we mind as well just get crazy and have fun with women who like to shoot pool balls of of their assholes and guzzle cum......Right ?

I think it's important to point out the difference between human life and other types of life.
If you equate killing a human being with killing an ant, then this monstrous, in the way that the Nazis were monsters, when they murdered millions of innocent civilians.

No need for her to be ashamed or to be made shamed by me. I wouldn't participate in that act with a woman that i didn't know and care about anyway. We can eat big plates of food and watch heroes afterward.
Why are you forcing yourself to see it this way ?
Life is life and life is precious. I love Ants and wouldn't purposely harm any.

Is it your view that the killing of ants by humans should be illegal in the same way that the murder of humans is?
Do you believe that the destruction of on ant colony is the moral equivalent of an event like the Holocaust?

No, but if the Ants went out for justice and got justice, i wouldn't feel bad for the human.
If one is trying to wipe out Ants like whites were trying to wipe out non whites then yes. It's destruction of life.

^^If killing a colony of ants is morally equivalent to the Nazi genocide against the Jews, and ant life is equal to human life, then why don't you believe that killing ants outside of self-defense should be legally defined as murder and treated as such by courts of law?
Is it it your opinion that ants have the cognitive abilities that are necessary to have a concept of "justice" and revenge?

You've asked me what i am afraid of ?
where ?
I must have missed you asking me that question.
i am not asking you if you've ever encountered a serial killer.
The quoted line is from a song sung by the greatest Rock n Roll band on earth.
Perhaps i'm unable to answer questions that were never presented directly.
I assume there is some type of problem you have with what i've written in this thread. If we start there, maybe things can be cleared up.
When i go out to go to the store, i hover over the sidewalks. so i'm not guilty of any crimes.
I also do not wash my ass ever.
I didn't know that this was a question for me to answer because i couldn't see how it related to any of the other replies.
I see it now... it think.
I think that the world that creates serial killers should be arrested, tried, and jailed.
