Drew,

Just noting that, today, the font sizes of the posts on the message board appear inconsistent (e.g., quoted material is smaller), and the "resolution" of the Forum main-page and the posts appear different on my computer screen.

Is this a "glitch" or something new that you're trying out?

Try this Bob. (and I got this from Drew)

I assume that you have a scroll mouse (mouse with a wheel)

Hold down the Ctrl key, and then roll the wheel. The font sizes will vary as you roll the wheel, and you should be able to get back to the original setting that you like.

I think when it first happened to me, I might have inadvertantly hit the control key and rolled the wheel without knowing it.

It shocked the hell out of me until Drew pointed out the solution.

Neither did I until Drew pointed out the solution. You can make the forum look pretty weird!!

edited to add: btw, Drew said he stumbled onto it also.

Most modern mice for Windows PC's have three things on top: a left button, a right button, and a colored wheel button in between that you can spin with your finger as well as click. That wheel is used to scroll up and down in Windows applications, but can be programmed to do whatever you want.

You can also do the same thing in Internet Explorer by going to the "View" menu, then going down to "Text Size" and selecting a different text size.

Since the style sheet here specifies the exact size of certain elements (such as hyperlinks), changing to a different text size may make things look strange.

Very true Saki, I have mine set to "Larger" out of all the choices listed. Its not big enough to overwhelm the screen but just the right size (at least for me) to prevent eye-strain.

Thanks DenverDon and everybody else!

My 2-1/2-year-old () got his quick little hands on the mouse (with the scrolling wheel) yesterday, but I didn't make the correlation.
