The problem is when regular ADTers try and PM regular ADTers (communication between non-mods and non-mods). I and others get the inbox is full or something. [Link]

I don't know anything about the messaging software or any potential bugs. But I'm going to offer a suggestion: Any chance your inboxes are actually full? Remember that if you've read all your messages before, then when you click on "Messages" in the top right corner of the screen, it won't actually show you any messages, just a message count. If you click on the "inbox" tab though, you'll see all the messages you've read already. Maybe, delete them and see what happens? If that doesn't help, then I've got nothing. And to Jonny: I just got another DM from a non-mod a few minutes ago, so non-mod --> mod should still be working. [Link]

This is a known problem (acknowledged by Drew) and has been discussed multiple times in Tech Talk. It (apparently) affects only some members, and everyone else is oblivious, unless one of the "afflicted" members says something about it. GGG even says she emptied messages from her inbox and sentbox, but it didn't fix the problem. We have established (from this other thread) that Gore Gore Girl and stinkfist are having the "erronously full mailbox" issue. So maybe it's a small problem, or maybe other members are suffering in silence or in ignorance. Remember the only way to know you know you have the problem is 1)someone tries to send you a PM 2)the sender gets a "full mailbox" error message 3)the sender somehow notifies you about the error message IMO, most times the sender will never do step 3 and therefore the recipient will never know any problem exists. One time, when I tried to start afresh with a new message, it said I had sent too many messages and would be unable to send any more. A day later, I was able to send them again. The second time, (the current situation), it was Jonny Jay and it says his inbox is full. So, unless JJ has been uncrowned as a mod, it looks like the civilian disease is spreading to the elites. As for how it was fixed, I don't know.... I e-mailed Drew about this issue and a few days later he e-mailed back that it was fixed and it hasn't happened since. [Link]

Does anyone know if the PM problem is going to get fixed? I can't imagine how busy Drew and Steph are, but besides the others, I would love to be able to privately communicate with ADT users instead of publicly. Right now, I can only do this with the mods. I can receive (I think some non-mods both can and can't successfully send and not sure if everyone's gets thru) PMs from non-mods, but when I try and reply to non-mods, I can't (error out).
