This has probably been asked before, but I was curious, what are some titles in which it was obvious the talent was on some type of drug? This is not a fetish of mine, I was just curious how common drug use/abuse is in the industry.
I've seen a lot of pot smoking in Seymore Butts movies. Julianne James seemed really wasted in "Seymore Meets the Cumback Brat" and there was on camera bong usage in a few other Seymore titles. Tampa Tushy Fest with Alisha Klass comes to mind.
Taylor Rain acts high in pretty much every scene she's ever done. That's because she probably was high in every scene she's ever done. Well known weed fiend
Good chance she's smoked out of her mind even as you read this.
I agree about Taylor Rain, one of my all time favourites, oh I how that ass will be sorely missed. No girl shoves four fingers up her own ass quite like Taylor!

Hi,
I remember Jayna Oso looked like she was on drugs during her scene (+all interviews in this movie) in Un-Natural Sex #10. And a few other scenes she looked that way too. Naudia Nyce in her Down the Hatch (#14?) Scene with Chico Wang also seemed to be on drugs (in my opinion).
Not a porn set, but Cytherea was a host for a softcore show called "Sex Factor" and she slurred all her lines. I would also advise you check her acceptance speech in the latest AVN awards.
This is totally off topic, but since I have your attention...I've seen you on fuckingmachines.com. I've always wondered, is sex with a machine as good as they say? For what it's worth, I've read they tell their models not to fake anything.
Do you perhaps know of an adult dvd website that sells dvds of women fucking machines (perhaps ones which are based in the UK?) I've noticed that it's very difficult to find those types of films.
I've seen to many girls whacked out on the hard stuff like coke, crack and speed it's sad and I never understood the thrill of it I guess. I hate using girls who have to get high to do porn they should find another line of work if they cannot handle it. The worst was way back when I shot for Puritan I had a girl pass out on the set and another time I had a guy overdose before I worked with him. I've seen it all and it's sad.
In Rocco's "Animal Trainer 10" Ukraine-born, blonde starlet Alissa was drugged-out on something. Her eye pupils were as big as flying sauces, she had trouble moving, talking--and Rocco fucked her semi-limp body every which way he wanted! But mostly in her small asshole--which may explain why she was stoned. In my opinion, NOT good porn or good image for the biz. BTW, Alissa appeared in about 50 sexvids (in roughly 3 years) before retiring, including "Sex Survivors" with Jodie Moore, and other euro-products from Private Video. She never looked drugged-out in any of her other videos...so, maybe she felt she needed it in order to get thru an extremely rough experience with Rocco.
Too many US porn girls have been accused of being either drugged or drunk on sets to name. Many of these stories are just people's perception that because the girl has had a drink or done a drug at some time during the (usually very long) day of shooting that she's "under the influence." Not necessarily true. My sense, from talking to various performers when they're on the road, is that more girls show up with a "hang over" than show up "under the influence."
Oh...remember the mainstream movie "Wild Things" with Denise Richards & Neve Campbell? Both Denise & Neve have stated in interviews that before their girl/girl scene (in the pool) they were in a trailer together drinking booze to "loosen up".
[For the record, although it shouldn't matter: I'm a recovering alcoholic, a member of AA, and have not had a drink in six years.]
The sad fact of the matter is that most jobs suck. They not only suck but they suck so bad that they give new meaning to the word "suck". They suck so bad that you have no choice but to put yourself into some kind of altered state in order to tolerate the sheer, mind-numbing stupidity of it all day after day. Not everyone can get a job that makes them happy and makes them feel utterly and completely fulfilled and satisfied and all that happy, fuzzy daytime TV stuff. There just aren't that many of those kinds of jobs out there and the ones that are have usually already been taken.
I'm personally surprised that everyone in America isn't on some kind of mind-altering substance. I think, probably the single biggest reason for alcohol's popularity is so that you can legally get yourself so fucked up you can't even think about how shitty your job is, how much you hate your boss or much of anything else. It's a liquid zonk pill that allows you to be a staggering, slobbering zombie for at least a little while. The alcohol isn't the problem. The things that drove the guy to drink himself into a stupor are the real problems. An epidemic of alcoholism or drug addiction is a symptom of a fucked up society.
best post ever
I'm not going to get into a "why people drink or do drugs" discussion, because there are too many (different) reasons that I've heard at many, many AA meetings. Nor am I going to do a blanket: it's society's fault. I will say that if it's your job that causes you to use drink or drugs (pressure, dislike of boss, dislike of "what" you do...like porn), the logic is simple: get a new job. I don't want to see unhappy or zombied-out people fucking in a porn video.
And the industry needs to look at itself to see if drugs and drinking are (as I believe) a major problem--and if so, create a support system to help those people who are suffering. Alcholism and drug abuse are considered by the medical profession to be diseases, and diseases can't be ignored--they must be treated.
as a whole I sincerely doubt porn wants to cure drug and drinking problems, people often want to see the girl who doesn't want to do it, not the girl that loves it.
There are exceptions both ways naturally, I worked for jewel and it was all business, no drugs or alcohol on set, accurate call times, professional behavior. There were also people I worked for where I knew I would be there 17 hours and fucked up off my head when I left. It was always 100% my choice to do drugs, a person with a different personality wouldn't fall into the same traps.
one of my first scenes was with Jack Napier, he was awesome really sweet we did the scene Iw as in extreme pain, the next day they call my agent and say they wont pay me cause im crying and grimacing and its unusable, the agent takes me to the "doctor" and i get my first script of vicoden with the direction to take one before each scene, and I did for the rest of my career.
I'm the sort of person that would take drugs any ways, you don't have to twist my arm. But my drug use was never discourages and I always had access to what ever I wanted. My first weight loss was 100% because of drugs, the whole anal diet thing is bullshit.
I know the medical profession considers them to be diseases. I just don't agree with them. I believe they are symptoms of a much more profound problem that doctors can't do anything about so they ignore the real problems and treat the symptoms.
As far as changing jobs and all that goes...nice thought. Sounds simple but it's not so simple. As I said, most jobs suck really bad so changing from one job you hate to another that you hate (or will learn to hate) makes little difference. Moving from place to place, job to job costs a lot of money that most people don't have and generally doesn't help.
You see....once you're addicted to something, yes, that's a problem. But the real problem is that there was a reason you started drinking or drugging in the first place (something drove you to want to be out of it) and if that isn't resolved, treating the symptom (self medication) won't make the original problem go away. That's it. That's all addiction is, for the most part. Self-medication. The real disease could be psychological or it could just be disgust with reality. Whatever it is will likely still be there after the doctor proclaims you to be "cured" of your addiction.
I watch porn, I don't really care if the people in it are using or not. That may sound insensitive but it's just a simple fact. Everybody has their own problems. I have enough of my own without worrying about someone else's. Whatever their reasons are is really none of my business. If they ever want to stop, it's not impossible. Too many people are on some kind of crusade to "save" other people from themselves and it's disgusting. Nobody cares what the fuck you do or what you have to live with as long as you don't try and make the pain go away with drugs or booze. Then, it's a race to save your soul from the depths of hell (as though you weren't already there).
It's not that everyone's job's are shitty. It's that just about everyone thinks that because they aren't making at least six figures per year to do nothing, they are shitty. Time and time again I see people who should be extremely grateful for what they have, but yet all you hear from them is bitching and complaining.
What really surprises me is not that fact that not everybody is on some kind of mind altering substance--but that people who think their life, or their job's are shit, don't fucking do something about it.
Most people spend so much more energy complaining about what is wrong with their life, then they would if they just figured out how to fix it.
Now I'm going way off on a tangent here. If anyone has seen that douchebag Michael Moore's documentary about Columbine, or whatever it was, they know the question that was posed. The question was why is there so much gun violence in the United States. It wasn't the number of guns, violent video games, poverty, etc. Every theory was disproven. The question was never answered. To me, the answer to that question is obvious. Listen to just about any tv show, news show, conversation in public, etc., and there is one common theme--NEGATIVITY. We are surrounded by it, and it spreads like a cancer. It eats at us, until we end up doing irrational things, or we kill ourselves or others.
It's just that at least 90% of them are. People who say their jobs don't suck are probably just in denial. I've never known one person who, if they were being totally honest, would say they didn't positively hate their job.
Ever notice how pissed most people are when they go home from work? Wonder why? Hmmmmmm. They take it out on everyone else. They blame everyone and everything but they can't blame the job because they know that if they admitted it sucks, they'd be expected to do something about it...which most people don't have the resources (whether financial or intellectual) to do.
So, they do what they can. They have a few beers or some whiskey or something and pass out or flip on the TV and try to get their mind off it. Whatever.
Actually, there are people who are lucky to barely make five figures. And most of them do a hell of a lot more than nothing.
Not sure who you're referring to here? Everybody bitches and complains about something. This is true. The problem is that most of them have a point but some people don't want to admit it. People don't generally complain for no reason. Even if the complaint is trivial, it's usually valid. And honestly, someone else's complaint is always going to seem pretty trivial to you unless you have the same complaint.
Such as?
Often much easier said than done. Just because it wasn't difficult for you, don't assume everyone has it so easy.
Not a very nice way to talk about a guy who apparently took your advice and ran with it ; )
And yeah...I've seen it. He had some decent points. I didn't like what he did to Charlton Heston, though. Pissed me off.
My own theory is that it's naivety and the abundant availability of weapons to people who aren't mature enough to own one. Most gun violence is carried out by young people. There's no easy answer but when a kid gets his hands on a gun, it's trouble waiting to happen.
I don't agree with people who think nobody should be allowed to own guns. I just think we have a generation of kids who have grown up with far too little discipline and too much freedom too early in life. Poor parenting and the fact that both parents often have to work to keep things going plays a role as well.
Guns are out there. They're available. Just about anyone can get their hands on one if they really want. Kids who haven't had a decent upbringing mixed with guns and booze are (as I said) just a disaster waiting to happen.
I don't think our problems are caused by negativity at all. I think they're mostly caused by stress. Our daily lives have been getting more and more stressful. Year by year. Things people didn't have to deal with years ago are now a daily issue. People are under so much pressure you can see it written on their faces everywhere they go. But they're not supposed to complain. They're just supposed to deal with it in some kind of new age, BS Dr. Phil kind of way and pretend it's no big deal. Anyone who's ever owned a pressure cooker knows what happens if you don't let that steam out.

MOD: If you can't act like a grown up, please don't post here.
dear lord your a fuck tard. do you realize that now when people say mikey is a crack head they will think of this and not beleive them. you are not helping your case.
M.F.B.O.B, just so you know, Michael Moore in Columbine did try to answer the question of why there is so much gun violence in the US. His theory was media-hysteria induced fear in a lot of americans. I'm not saying I fully agree, but it does cross my mind every time I see something blown out of proportion on the news.
So many competing news channels, the only way to compete to be louder and scarier...
Anyway, back to topic, drugs in porn is obviously prevalent. I know there are lots of guys who like to see the girls grimace in pain, but for me I prefer when the chick looks horny as hell. And any girl who looks like she is on drugs is just not as appealing to me... thats just me though...
playing devils advocate but if people treated it like a business more chicks would ration out sex acts and want back ends, it would change the entire face of porn
Do you have any idea how miniscule the actors' cut of cable sales is? It's all up on the SAG website. 99 times out of a 100 you'd be better off with $500 cash up front.
I just seen "blazed and confused 2" and i didn't like it. For me it's a bullshit movie. This is not a good thing for Penny Flame and also for Taryn Thomas. they are so pitiful, and i can understand why they do have problem in Barcelona last year during the FICEB.
while a shot or 2 of one's favorite liquor can help take the edge off, in my humble experience, recreational use of er.... "inhaled stimulants" is a MAJOR inhibition reducer, especially with the ladies. Medical science as it applies to narcotic effect knows no holiday.
Less inhibitions = more aggressive sexual activity and/or risk taking, which is quite marketable, especially in this era of gonzo
It's one thing if you love to party in your spare time in a private and controlled envoirnment. But it's tacky and tasteless to come to work high or/and drunk. It doesn't make a good scene unless that's what you're goin for. At least wait til the scene or work is over. I always thought that producers weren't allowed (legally) to film anyone visbaly intoxicated. am i wrong on this? btw how could fisting be illegal yet a chick drunk or high on a set is acceptable? I'm not "straight-edge" I'm a party gal (pot and alcohol please!) but I want to not only be alert but enjoy the scenes I want to do and drugs and alcohol just kill it. I remember hearing awhile back Chasey Lain Od'ed which resulted in her firing from Pleasure at the Expo and also Gia Paloma od'ing on the floor at the Expo but was right up at the AVN awards with her super wide grin. Some have died from this and which the industry as a whole needs to wake up address this issue fully. Instead of being so hard up to shoot the new piece of ass.
Ok idiot get your facts straight before you post shit like this. I for one could NOT attend FICEB last year due to having the Ecoli virus which I caught from eating spinach. As for Penny she had something she needed to take care of.
Also Penny has been sober from all drugs except pot for about 4 years if not more. I have been sober from everything other than alcohol for about a year now. And before my two month relapse in January of 06, I was completely sober for about 2 years. Now as for doing drugs while shooting a scene. I have NEVER DONE THAT AND WILL NOT DO THAT. Seriously I don't know how people shoot porn on drugs. I for one could not do it...
So before you come on a board you barely ever post on get your facts straight about performers.
