What you need to be aware of is Bit Rate (read video quality). Video can be encoded from bit rates ranging from 1-9. The higher the bit rate, the better the video quality, the better the picture looks. Of course, the higher the bit rate, the more disc space it eats up. A single layered DVD is 4.7 gigs any way you wanna slice it up. We, at VCA Interactive do not put anything over 129 minutes (including all motion menus, extras, etc...) on a single sided DVD. I would be cautious of any single sided disc much longer than 2 hours, if you care about quality. Wit |
