Just before I left Diesel had requested ( I think it was Diesel, can't find the thread now) we put out some of our features that starred Leena. A couple of other folks posted that they were interested as well. Since I try to give you what you want I've gone through our catalog of movies to try and determine the best place to start. I started by looking up the original reviews of all her movies in the AVN database and picked out the 6 best reviewed features, all having received 4 stars or better: Juranal Park

Hi, jb0911...Yup...it was me who requested the Leena titles. Thanks for responding to her legion of fans! She is truly an underrated performer, and I think that I obsessively mention her in some way on every Diesel's Den column! As for titles, videos like BLINDED BY LOVE, PORTRAIT OF DORIAN, SHE QUEST and NASTY are a must. We would also love to see LIVING END, LEENA MEETS FRANKENSTEIN, BROTHEL, and HINDFELD make their debut on the digital medium. Finally, does Odyssey own the rights to the Video Team releases as well as the Pinnacle titles? If so, then videos like LEENA and GOING PRO would be the ones I would like to see this year. I think that "Eight Is Never Enough" is produced by Zane.I want to see "Blinded By Love" and "Portrait of Dorian" and "The Living End" because of Tiffany Million's scenes also. I think that it was one of Leena's first movies. [Link] |

Leena Meets Frankenstein was great from what I remember. I remember it as being a lot like Double Feature! I also remember one called Pretending with Leena and Sarah Jane Hamilton that I'd like to see again (of course on DVD).[Link] |

Hey Sonic,When I went over the titles, re-read the reviews and tried to remember public reaction to these films when they were originally released I first thought the ones to start out with would be Nasty and Juranal Park. So far though we've got Blinded by Love and The Living End in the lead with Portrait of Dorian very close. I'd like to get around to releasing all Leena's titles. I wanted to get a good idea of what folks really wanted because Leena made over 20 movies with us and it could take a while to get them all out. Faron [Link] |

Hey,Thanks for the input Joe Blow! It looks like you hit the nail right on the head. Feedback from you guys and other sources make it look like The Living End and Juranal Park will in fact be the first two titles headed your way. I hear your pain on the Shane's World titles. As I had mentioned in earlier threads, we had started work on the first three Shane's World titles for DVD when a disput occured between Shane and her former production company, Shane Enterprises. How about giving us a projected release date, jb0911?I've been waiting around for promised titles like the special edition of BAD WIVES and THE DINNER PARTY and other Cameron Grant films for awhile now, and I haven't heard a peep about those releases since the AVN Expo in January! I just want to make sure my parents give me enough allowance money when THE LIVING END and JURANAL PARK hits the market! Well, as of yesterday it's official that the first two will be Juranal Park and The Living End. My art Dept. just brought in all the photos from the shoot and I'll retreive the masters from the vault today to start working on the pre-production for the DVD's. I'm going to start calling today to see if there's any chance of getting either Leena or another of the major participants to do a Commentary Track. If all goes well we should have source materials gathered in about three weeks. Once that's ready the materials can go into menu creation, encoding and authoring. We usually spend two to three weeks on a title for that phase of production. After QC we go to the factory. Between glass mastering, final QC, replication, disc printing and packaging we're looking at 4 to 5 weeks. 2 to 4 weeks for pre-marketing and we should see these titles on the street in August. Please keep in mind that this is a best case scenario with no glitches along the way. I will keep you better informed as to an actual release date as we get closer!

It takes all that work to create a DVD? I thought all one had to do is to hook two machines up with a couple of feet of Monster Cable, push "Play" to run the master tape, and "Burn disc" on the DVD recorder...and voila! You make a digital video disc! I am sure that's what VCX and Caballero do (using an old VHS rental tape as the master)... Diesel P.S. To Magnet12: Yes, Leena was in SHAME...but you have got to see her in action in other movies like BLINDED BY LOVE or in Vivid Video's CHEATING. I think that THE LIVING END was one of her very first pictures, and she is incredible!

Thanks Diesel for your affirmation! I missed quite a few of Leena's great movies but i have to say honestly that she has a great body and butt As far as Shame goes, it extremely sucks. It is one of the worst movie i've ever seen!
