With some dvds(I'm talking nonporn)you can hit the menu button a few times and go straight to the main menu. Nobody has explained to me WHY on most dvds I have I cannot FF or go to Main Menu and I have to sit through the FBI warning,every fucking company logo involved with said film,and FUCKING SCENES FROM THE GODAMMN FILM I'VE YET TO SEE!!!!!?????? I rented the Hulk,so I have to sit through this,and even when I make a fuckin menu choice(screen,audio,chapter)I get a fucking montage of scenes from the film every fucking time! Whose fucking bright idea was this?This is especially irritating if it's a film I FUCKING BOUGHT!IF IF FUCKING BOUGHT THE GODAMMN FILM WHY DO I HAVE TO SIT THROUGH 5 FUCKING MINUTES OF SHIT EVERY TIME I POP IN THE FILM? Sometimes menus can be annoying, but the bottom line is that you're not buying the movie, you're buying the DVD - and it's presented however they decided to present it. I believe that if you want just the movie that the Superbit collection is the way to go. (The best technical picture because they fill up the disc with nothing but the movie itself, no extras.) Vivid is currently the worst with this. Not only can't you bypass the FBI warning, you can't bypass a few ads either. [Link] |
