Fellow porn lovers,

In the past few weeks I've been searching for a DVD/VHS combo or relatively inexpensive VHS and DVD seperates.
I basically want a DVD player that can play all of my porn DVD's and have something else to record programmes of the TV. That's when I came across the Phillips DVD recorder at a really reasonable price.
I'm really tempted to buy this recorder, however I'm concerned that the DVD quality or reader is not as efficient as a seperate DVD player. Does anyone own one of these and have they you experienced any problems watching your porn DVDs on it?

Thanks in advance.

I've got a Pioneer 5100 DVD/HDD recorder.
The picture quality is great for both recording and playback. As well it should be, damn thing was expensive enough.

Being a recorder I guess it might have a more accurate drive than a simple player.
I've got one really badly scratched disc that it plays without any problems. My old player couldn't handle it.

Cheers for the info ShiWarrior and Kperv....you've been very helpful. I think you guys have swayed my decision to invest in a DVD recorder.

Thanks again,

its definatlly worth it mate, cheap VHS recorders are useless, u have to spend a bit more, and the extra $$ u may as well get a DVD recorder, u can pick them up for £150+ now i think and the quality is so much better than VHS..

good luck
