Can anyone recommend good dvd stores in Berlin (not online) with a good selection of European and US dvds at a fair price? Looking mainly for Ana/Dia, RLD, PX, EA, ZT, Devils and some Euro stuff. Also any good 2nd hand stores where I could get older DBM and stuff?
I can vouch for that, Mienhagen. In Koln (Cologne) last week I visited a regular sex shop (Erotica) where they were charging 30 euro (=about 30 USD) for most regular titles including GGG. I bought two and I had to ask the bloke to put them in a bag! Wot a wally! It was the same in Regensberg (Southern Germany) in the Beate Uhse shop. Wot a ripoff!
I am from Germany and I buy ALL my DVDs online from the US. That should tell you something. Even if 10% of the shipmments would be lost or stolen or intercepted by customs, I would still be far better off than buying locally.

What juha says might be true in comparison to other countries. Inside Germany I defend my statement: my observation is that the smaller studios Mienhagen mentioned (Ana/Dia, RLD, PX, ZT, Devils) are cheaper in chain stores (you probably don't get the latest stuff of them in any other store). Major labels here like Hustler, Private, GGG,... however are more expensive in stores like Beate Uhse.

Any idea how much a have to pay for a recent Ana/Dia release at Beate Uhse? I remember it was up to 70 Euro (!!!) two years ago. How much for RLD/PX?
This is hard to tell. They are not that big. Probably Ana/Dia but not the latest... But really don't rely so much on this. If you have the time, have a look around and try many places...
Without a doubt, check out the VideoWorlds stores. I know the store on Uhland Strasse has 1 room devoted to sales, with everything from trash DVD's at 3 Euro, up to Private, Evil Angel, etc. running between 20 and 40 euro, sometimes a few are on special for even less. Not exactly sure if they have Ana/Dia or how recent it all is - I haven't really been comparing. Then they have 3 more more rooms of rental, most of which you can also purchase. The store on Berliner Strasse has a whole floor for adult. I stay away from the Sarah Young, Beate Uhse and Erdbeer Mund stores - you'll find a few bargains in there, but for the most part everything is full retail or higher. I think they're just for the tourists. And it just feels dirty. I like the VideoWorlds because they're more like the old mom-n-pops used to be in the US, where you never know what kind of treasure you'll find, and you can browse to your heart's content. Germany is a weird place, stay away from the Caviar and Oma stuff. Ewwwww.
