I just got a 50 pack of DVD+R but it happens they are not compatible on my DVD Recorder so is there a way I can make them compatible and if there not are they good for anything else?

Or buy a multiformat (DV+/-RW) burner. The 4x variety are around $100, and the 8x ones are $150+.

See if you can return them to the store from which you bought them (or exchange them for DVD+R's, if they have them). When I incorrectly bought -R's upon buying my new PC, I returned them with no problems.

Your DVD drive knows that it can't write to these discs, so it hasn't tried. Therefore the discs are still as good as new.
