| The Collector Member 54 Posts 2/05 |  Posted - Mar 19 2005 : 1:33AMHi everyone. I'm strongly considering purchasing both Candy Lips and Little Orphan Dusty 1 on DVD. Does anyone know if either of these DVD versions is edited?? I know Dusty was once edited, but the back of the DVD on most sites I can find says "UNCUT". This surprises me and I'm not sure if it's for real or not. Does that mean even the fisting is included?? It's not the fisting I'm after, but the scene with bikers at the beginning which was completely chopped from my VHS copy. Does the DVD include that scene? In its entirety? Or if not entire, how much? The other film is Candy Lips, which I've already seen a long time ago. Before I purchase though, I'm trying to find out if one of the best scenes was cut from the DVD. It was kind of like a "Taboo" scene. An old man who may or may not have been related to a young woman came into her bedroom while her friends took off. He raised her lower half off the bad and gave her oral sex. I like the scene a lot but from what I remember of the movie, I wouldn't buy it if that scene has been cut out of the DVD. For instance, on some VHS pressings of "T and A Team", there is a scene edited out just because the woman uses ponytails to appear young and the guy wears a Santa suit. It's my favorite scene in the movie because the girl is so gorgeous (can't remember her name). So if a scene like that can be edited, I'm sure the Candy Lips scene could be. (Incidentally, I'd pass out right in the store if I ever saw that "T and A Team" was releasde on DVD including the "Santa" scene. Can't even find a VHS copy with that scene anymore, even on ebay.) But then, Taboo 1 and Taboo 2 weren't exactly edited for their DVD releases to my knowledge. So maybe there's hope for Candy Lips. But it won't surprise me to not find that scene anywhere when I unwrap and view the DVD. I wonder if anyone else on these boards likes 80's porn like I do. Of course I also have things like Anal Intensive and Fashionistas. See? I'm not stuck in the past! Just trying to reobtain the ones I grew up with. :-) [Link] |

The sex is better these days, but perhaps the acting and situational aspects had a lot to offer in the 80's. Although I'm probably painting with too wide a brush. Take Face Dance. There's some good acting there and an inventive story. I like to keep both these kinds of films near and dear to my heart. Classics with stories make a good change of pace from non-fiction fucking. I am in the fortunate position that I do the screening for our classics section, so basically I can order any classic I want to see and pick the good ones to sell. And sometimes they end up on my shelves at home (purely for quality control of course!) in stead!
