Here's the latest example that caught my attention: ebay auction for 5 guy Cream Pie #5 It's bad enough when they bid past the prices listed in the ADT price search, but apparently there were at least two bidders who lost all touch with reality! Someone needs to tell these poor schmoes about ADT ! I've never sold an adult DVD on ebay, but I'd list my whole collection if I could get those guys to bid.

I see lot's of dvds sell for $25 to $30 on eBay, and that's before the S&H fees. I rarely get to go to a brick and mortar retail store, but I was in one in Albuquerque last week, and I was dumbfounded to see Leisure Time discs for $19.95, and that was their super sale price. I'm glad there are brick and mortar retailers, but I'm also glad I don't have to buy there. [Link] |

Just recently I had to replace some stuff I borrowed and wrecked (oops) and the price was £130. One store had a reduction to £88 which on the face of it was an excellent price. A few weeks later (I know, I just don't get round to doing stuff very quickly), I rung up to order them in and the price was back up. I said he better speak to the manager and see what he would come up with. Anyhoo, on my way out to the same store several days later I called in a different one on the way and saw the same thing for £66 and this time I did get it on the spot. Z. [Link] |

I've only sold a couple of titles on ebay, and I don't much care for it. There's just so much garbage posted on the board and your sale item can easily get lost in the mix. There's also the obvious fees for placing the ad and the risk of the bidders flaking out on you when it comes to paying for the sale. I'll stick to ADT for my trades. [Link] |

There is a lot of psychology that plays into this (I read into it). 2) You have under age people who can buy things on ebay where they can't on a regular website (or store obviously). Obviously if you are a kid with limited options, money becomes less of an issue to get something they cannot attain otherwise. 3) Many people are not comfortable submitting credit card info to an adult DVD site (either for fear of scandle or simply being sent junk email or mail), but feel a global and reputable site such as Ebay is OK. So this becomes their only source for attaining these items, and if something they really want comes up, they will get it at any cost. 4) Combined with number 3 above, people who live in remote locations without access to stores will overpay for something that is difficult for them to get. These are just a few factors at play. And also keep in mind when you sell on Ebay, millions of people could be viewing your item so who knows whatever reasons there might be. For comparison AVN is ranked 5,232 and iafd is ranked 12,952. Obviously somebody has heard of the site without any silly self promotion. BTW, the ranks of the sites that you think can actually help ADT are: I think we can do without the "mass" exposure that these hugely popular websites can provide us. If these are the places that you are trying to promote Leanna Heart, it's no wonder her career is where it is right now.
