One of my all-time favourite titles is Tales From the Crack. I bought a copy in a London sex store about a year ago - loved it. Hot, nasty, imaginative and fun. However, some of the edits seemed decidedly odd for such a well-shot piece of porn. I wasn't surprised to discover from an ADT pal that the UK version had about eight minutes chopped from the US original. Thanks to that same pal I now own the unexpuragated US version - all scenes of nasty throat-fucking present and correct, plus Belladonna gets a pool cue up her ass. Hmmmm...

Has anyone else in the UK had a similar experience? Does this happen with most or a lot of imported DVDs?

I have some R18 DVDs and as far as I can tell, nothing has been edited, simply because they never contained any fisting, strong S/M, watersports, etc to begin with. As long as there aren't any taboo sex acts, you should be fine.
For example, I checked my R18 Ass Worship 6 the other day to see if Jayna Oso's "milk squirting" scene was taken out and, to my surprise, it has been left in. It's a scene where she injects milk into her ass from a pump and then squirts it out.

From what i hearded UK is a real pain in the ass for these things, LOTS and LOTS of edit where it should not be.

Back when i used to buy R18's they also removed all extras and menus. My advice is simply don't bother buying them.
