I was just watching Alexis Malone with Fabio, in North Pole #41, and just noticed a weird editing error.
Near the end of the scene, as they are cutting to different angles, they cut to about 5-10 seconds of Amber Rain doing reverse cowgirl (presumably with Peter North) before returning to Alexis Malone to complete the scene.
Note: the four performers do NOT share a scene together. Rather, the Alexis Malone/Fabio scene, and the Amber Rain/Peter North scene, are two separate scenes from the same movie.
I've caught stuff like this before, but I thought I'd see if anyone else ever catches these things?
One time, I'm not making this up, there was a cut-a-way to some TV show during the scene. I guess if the editors are watching TV on their computers that explains a lot of the poor editing we see. Or, maybe this kind of glitch points towards a pirated movie (i.e. this DVD with the "TV show cut")?
Anyway, I'd love to know what other movies others have spotted similar editing errors in.

If you've watched a ton of porn over the years you will run into a lot of stuff. I've had a title not begin for 10 minutes. There was nothing wrong once the picture actually began but some dumb fuck recorded on it so it was a black screen for 10 mins, probably got distracted doing something else. Seen a lot of chapters take you to the wrong scenes, extras links that don't work and some DVDs have to be ejected and reloaded otherwise you can't return to the beginning of the title. Like any field of work, there are a lot of incompetent people who edit porn and don't really care about their product or bother to implement any quality control.
One of the more interesting editing jobs I've seen (not a mistake) are the Traci Lords releases from the 80s. She was performing illegally in porn (underage) and the titles had to be pulled from video store shelves. The studios then reshot the same titles and replaced her scenes with a legal age performer and then redistributed them. To my knowledge only one Traci Lord film was made legally (Traci I love you) but that film seems impossible to get these days. I think she collected all copies and destroyed them as she later said she was sickened for making that film.

I have recently noticed a new type of error I never heard before: the director saying cut, rolling, 3-2-1, etc., by multiple studios. Either I've been watching lower budget porn lately or the industry's standards are slipping with budget cuts.
