I know that there are other Elegant Angel threads here, but none of them, nor any posts in them answer this question, especially in the here and now.

I'd like to sign up to EA to get access to some of their back catalogue but it seems there are a lot of negative comments from ADT members, even though those negative comments go back several years. Does anyone have a current or recent membership who can say is EA is a decent site to deal with? I'm not asking about the scenes themselves, since I'm looking for older stuff. I'm more looking for information on downloads - are they available? Are they part of the basic subscription or are they available for an added fee? Who is the biller? Have yo had trouble cancelling?

The last time I joined EA was in 2018 and I used a prepaid card, because the time before that, my card got hacked. The biller was PSNBilling, or something like that.

Any thoughts? Should I run for the hills and give up on EA or is it worth it? I clicked through an EA link on a referral site offering a $9.99 discount, but when I click 'join,' the price is the full $30.

Advice will be appreciated!

They make great content, no doubt, but I recently signed up and was disappointed that it didn't include downloads

On Elegant Angel 450 of their DVDs isn't included (out of 1976 DVDs) in subscription only on VOD which is part of their website. Downloads are per scene or DVD. DVD around 12 dollars. Per scene ranges from 0.99 to 5.99.

AdultDVDEmpire Unlimited covers most of their catalogue. 1800 (out of 1976 DVDs) only content from 2023 onwards is missing which again is VOD.

Both websites are streaming only with downloads at a per scene or per DVD whichever suits VOD model.

On review sites there is currently a 17.99 discount for first month for Elegant Angel. 14.99 discount for AdultDVDEmpire Unlimited.

^ and ^^ Thanks for your replies. Based on what you've written, I'm not going to join. It's frustrating that EA itself doesn't provide this information and as a prospective subscriber I needed to ask for advice on a porn forum. This should be a good indicator to EA that they may not be entirely ethical. I wonder how many people tried to make the transition from watching pirated porn to paying for it and got burned by sites like this. There is no reason to not be transparent. "This is what you get for your subscription." It's simple.

I took a quick look at AdultDVDEmpire and they don't appear to have any of the older titles I'm looking for. Presumably, I'd need to buy downloads there too.

Oh well. It looks like I won't be filling in some gaps with my older EA catalogue.
