ElegantJ: Regarding the new site, will you still have the complete Elegant Angel back catalog available? If so, when you re-upload the old scenes to the new site, could you fix an issue I have with one scene on the current site? As you'll recall, I tried to download a 1080p version of Rebeca Linares and Tori Black's threesome from Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy and the tease footage of the two of them on the beach was completely excised. This, despite the fact that the screenshots on the scene's page clearly showed the tease footage in the scene. You'll also remember how incompetent the tech support people were on the issue, so I'm glad you guys are dropping the company who were running the site. They sucked big time and I'm looking forward to trying the new site once it's up and ready.
I kinda liked the latest squirting titles from EA like squirt in my gape 5 and battle of the squirters had its moments.... Seeing the trailer of a new installment of Squirt Gangbang (5) I get a bit worried that EA makes the same mistake as the last episodes of this series. ^given the fact that they push out a new compilation a week, I would venture that we arent missing much from lack of site updates I mean seriously, how many ways can these guys re-package old scenes and hash em out for 25 bucks?

^ Seems to me that they've said "fuck it" when it comes to online content and they've just decided to try to make what they can with DVDs. As far as I can tell, their DVDs still sell pretty well.
If they only released every movie in HD VOD I couldn't care less about their paysite. But apparently they are incapable of doing that.

Out of the corner of my eye, I just happened to notice astroknight's review of Oil Explosion. Damn, this movie looks awesome! I had no idea about this movie, even though it's been out for a couple months now. The cast is awesome-Keisha Grey, Karlee Grey, Morgan Lee, Leah Gotti and AJ Applegate?! Fuck me, I gotta figure out how to watch this! (Looks like I'll have to buy it off of Adult Empire's VOD service.)
@Mass If you buy VOD from DVD Empire can you let us know what the bit rate and resolution it is? If you look closely there is no blue 1080 label on it and the price is less than their 1080 options. I didn't purchase it because it looks like it might be 720 (or worse yet, SD). --Some other options-- Another option for the EA catalog that isn't available on their site is the videobox ea channel. But they only offer 720p with pretty low bit rate. AEBN offers it in 1080 ($20) but it might not be true 1080 or low bit rate (download size says 5.72 GB)

^ Meh, he's not one of my preferred male talents, however, his presence in a scene doesn't make it an "automatic pass" for me. I hate to tell you, but I'm a "stream-only" porn consumer, I don't do downloads. I'm only lookin' at the stream/rental options.
What exactly is going on with Elegant and Keisha Grey? First, she didn't appear on the cover of Butt vs. Slut vs. Tit vs. Squirt despite being one of the stars of the movie. Now, she's not even billed on the cover of Alexis Loves Girls, except as "+MORE!" That's like being called "plus one."
The new site is nice, but I noticed that it only contains content released since last fall. And the old site is still there, which is nice, since I purchased a year membership right before they stopped updating it. There are some movies that are not on either of the sites, so hopefully they can release the backlog soon. I hoping that all Elegant content will be accessible on one site eventually, because I can't afford to have a membership to two sites from the same studio. For now, I'm just going to keep my old membership, since it includes all my favorite scenes from the "golden days" of EA.
Already posted in the other forum , if not relevant - Moderators please remove I joined and checked it, although the approach to the site is minimalist , yet it is good(aesthetically speaking) however there are certain concerns - 1) There is no download option and I had a chat with their customer service for nearly 30mins regarding this. Initial response was that they will be not be adding this request in future however when I explained the rationale behind it , they obliged and asked to take it to their development team. 2)Streaming with low caliber internet is an issue and they are actively restricting users to not join the site by doing that. 3)Also , if one user does not get what he pays for , piracy is the alternative, and I had a discussion on how their such act is in fact emboldening piracy rather than curbing it. 4)I also mentioned that , if they wish to charge a small fee of say 1 or 2 dollar per download that would be understandable but not giving download option at all is worrisome. 5)I even cited the case study on piracy, there was a huge music piracy until Steve Jobs launched itunes and then people happily paid for it, so people usually don't do piracy unless they are forced to. 6)Bottom line is who wants to infect their computer with malicious content when you can buy it from a safer platform at a reasonable rate. Empahsis on reasonable. I agree with all the comments mentioned above and the ones especially related to download- who wants to pay when you can not download it. Hope we could bring it to their attention so that they can change their policy.
^Wow! No download option....that's an instant pass for me. I also noticed that they are charging $150/yr for membership. I believe Jules Jordan, Evil Angel, and maybe Brazzers are the only sites which I've ever paid that much money for an annual membership. Hell, I would gladly pay more considering the massive libraries of videos these sites have, the quality of their product, and being able to download. This new site is definitely not worth that much, seeing as the updates only go back to the fall of last year AND there is no download option. I also prefer to download movies so that I can watch in HD without constant buffering and lag. Elegant really shit the bed on this one! Hopefully, they will come to their senses and address these issues. Its really too bad.

Sorry, but to be fair this company has ripped and lied to paying customers for over a year, constructive criticism has been tried with them over and over but they just ignore their paying fan base. I won't do it here but I'll insult and bash these guys everywhere else I can.
Man I was so stupid I just joined the new site for a month without coming here first! STREAMING ONLY?? WTF! And the video quality is of course not that good to begin with and there are no options to set the quality... I've been ripped off by porn people so many times in the past that I ought to have learned something by now but apperently not. Most streaming only paysites have failed and this one is proabably gonna fail as well. At least make it cheaper if you're not going to offer downloads for fucks sake.
this new site format is like operating a store that only accepts credit transactions and no cash. cant strip away a core fundamental like that. Not everyone likes to watch scenes on tiny 19 inch monitors over laggy wi-fi. Plus, if the majority of the Pat Collins golden era content isnt there, whats the point of signing up?
I guess they all wanna be like Netflix now (while ignoring the fact that Netflix has a shit ton of great exclusive content and is only like $12 per month). The quality of EAs streaming videos now automatically and dynamically adapts to your bandwidth (like on Netflix and other modern streaming services). Which is okay if you have a good connection but on a slow connection you're basically screwed. With the old model of streaming videos you could at least have the video set to good quality and buffer the video for a while and watch it later even on a slow connection. I don't think these streaming only sites will ever really work for the porn industry because people are just used to be able to download everything. The only people who don't care about this are the ones watching porn for free on tube sites and they will never become your customers. What EA are now doing is basically alienating their last paying customers. With things like Netflix it's different because for most of their customers it's a direct transition from watching DVDs to streaming videos on their devices (downloading everything was never part of the equation). But basically what Elegant Angel are now doing is trying to cash in on this trend without giving us any of the real benefits and only giving all the benefits to themselves. Plus, many porn consumers are prolific fast-forwarders and that's much less convenient with a dynamically streamed broadcast because it will go into buffering every time since there's no preloaded content. People might be willing to accept constant buffering for "free" from tube sites (and most of them preload anyway, I think), but I suspect the expectations are higher for pay sites. Dynamic streaming makes sense for content consumed live (mostly sports) or in linear fashion (mainstream movies and shows), but not really for porn.Chances are it's going to turn out like it did for other porn sites that disallowed downloading - the only people who'll have downloadable files of the content are those who get them from pirate sources. Wow, thanks for the insight guys. I'm a happy supporter of 3 sites, I say supporter as I just go for the year membership without a care because I love what the companies put out. (Screwbox, Tushy etc) I was going to add ElegantAngel as I love their teases before the scenes etc, but I think I'll just go for Mason's HardX instead especially with Facialized coming up. If I can't keep a downloaded scene when paying $150USD/year then I'll leave it. I'd rather go buy the BluRay movies that I want. Without Big Wet Asses & some great showcases/movies of young new talent (which there is a lot of) ElegantAngel is mainly for MILF demographic then, not my cup of tea. Hell I'd pay a lot more if I could pick/ have input on castings, costumes etc - not sure why porn companies dont option this out as more expensive member options - surely some rich fellas don't mind cashing in
I took a 2 days trial membership, a really bad experience!!. It´s a sorrow because with Alexis Texas in several of its movies I could be amazing. I used to be member of EA, but with this format, not never again!!

BTW what happen to Pat Collins, So why did he sold Elegant and left the industry?
^ I forget the gory details, but essentially Collins was getting divorced and needed to sell Elegant. There were several aborted attempts that kept getting fouled up by the divorce case before it finally sold to Exquisite Multimedia: Elegant Angel Finds Permanent Home with Exquisite Multimedia Unless something has changed they're the ones still running things now. EDIT: Although, the article states that Exquisite would be handling both EA's back catalog and new content. But now we have two websites: One which hosts the back catalog/allows downloads and one that hosts all their new content/is streaming only. Confusing...
