| Chancer01 Deactivated User 28 Posts 10/07 | I have a few AVIs I want to put on DVDs to go into storage, but I also want to encrypt them. I could put them in Truecrypt file containers, but this seems to "waste" too much space - ie you need to make a big file container to store one AVI, but then it's too big to burn to DVD. I probably don't need that level of protection, just a basic password protect would do. Any suggestions? [Link] |

If it is two large for a single DVD (4.7 Gb) then in the data format it can be split over more than one DVD. Of course, they can't be 'played' in that format. You would have to decompress the file onto your hard drive to get it back to AVI format. |
