It aims for a natural vibe, and more often than not, it works wonderfully. You don't see women screaming at the top of their lungs with common porn vernacular, you don't see the veneer of sexual pleasure that plagues most of American porn. You see some genuine orgasms between the girls. I'm not going to say its all good; in fact quite a few scenes are pretty terrible, but there are some real winners there that hit a level of eroticism that American porn rarely touches. Also, the technical quality is far above that of most other sites. HD quality all the way. I've looked into amateur porn movies and sites before, but I found the majority of it to be crap. Unattractive performers, poor lighting and poor production that leads to utterly unstrokeable tripe... but there has to be something out there that works as well as Abbywinters does for lesbian porn. I'm not pretentious enough to make the claim that I've hit that mark every time, with every scene or DVD, but it's my constant goal. I try and hire models with good chemistry and the maturity to understand their own bodies and sexuality and what makes themselves 'tick'. I try and film the scenes with natural positions and get some type of organic flow to the sex. I work hard to pay attention to lighting and sound, and that's not always an easy thing to do. I don't shoot in the big open LA Mansions that alot of the west coast director's use, and I tend to stay away from hotel rooms like a lot of the other amateurs do. Instead, I try and pick real locations for my stories and it's not always possible to bring in lights or have the space for crew, and honestly, I don't always have the cash to take the time I probably need to get it 'right'. But I'm trying every time I pick up the camera. Being as small as I am, and more or less working outside of the 'studio system' of the Valley, I've been able to sort of follow my own direction, and I won't lie, it's difficult sometimes.
