I've been reading reviews of Christoph's original Evil Angel series and see that more so than the Hardball line, this was a series with variable intensity and hotness of female talent.
I've come to the conclusion that #1, 3, 6, 13, 18, 20, 22, 23, 24 are worth owning, due to a combination of consistent lively scenes, gorgeous women, and well-shot anal.
The rest seem too inconsistent or ride on one scene alone worthwhile.
I'm interested in what viewers here think are the Top Three Euro Angels titles, and if you disagree with my demarcation above either way, let me know.
If you like movies from Christoph Clark I think you will also like his Angel Perverse and Euro Domination movies. Also gorgeous women and well-shot anal.
Thanks bluey. No, I know Christoph's work well. Big, big fan. My problem is I've exhausted all the new work - Euro Dom and Angel Perverse and want more, so I'm looking to his older work to 'get me through.' Heh.
I've seen most of the original Euro Angels series, as well as Hardball and Beautiful Girls. I've found Domination a little too circus-trick for me, so that'll give you an idea of what I like.
With Euro Angels I often found that one scene on a disc made it worth watching, rather than the whole disc being worthwhile. Only a few were really balanced, by which I mean at least a few good scenes and some variety (including bbg, bg, bgg, anal and DP all in one movie). I've kept numbers 2, 3, 9, 12, 20 and 25.
2 - only for the 4 or 5 guy mini gang bang which ends with excellent facials.
3 - Well-balanced.
9 - Fairly balanced.
12 - Laura Angel with 2 guys, plus preliminary solo dildo and Laura in the shower and getting dressed. Umm, there was some other good stuff too - it's fairly balanced - but it's eclipsed by Laura.
20 - Well-balanced, although Meridian steals the limelight.
25 - Well-balanced.
So, unless you're a Laura Angel fan, and you're looking for a balanced disc, I'd recommend 3, 20 and 25.
The best thing about the original Euro Angels series (for me, at least) was all the gaping. If you're a fan of gaping, you'll probably like most of them. If not, perhaps not.
Unfortunately, this is the one thing about Christoph's movies I don't like. Gapes don't directly turn me off, but they don't turn me on. Obviously there are going to be gapes when large logs are removed from rectums, but I just find dwelling on the resulting cavern dull. Other than this, CC movies have everything I enjoy - beautiful women, anal, facials and other cumshots, groups with plenty of DPs. If I could re-edit all my CC movies so that the gaping was reduced 90% I reckon I'd have a collection of perfect porn movies.
One of the great things about Euro Angels is that you'll find some fairly big stars such as Laura Angel, Nikki Andersen, Meridian, Cassandra Wilde, Judith Grant etc. All of these have done Private movies, so it's not as if anal, DPs and facials are new to them, but Euro Angels scenes have a more real feel - less formulaic, more gonzo, and more enthusiasm. They're just more fun, basically.
