I think it all depends on their arrangements with their US agent. If an Euro girl is smart enough and knows the current US fees and stuff, she should earn the same. If she is just happy to get away from Prague, Buda or somewhere else, than she will probabely settle for 700$ or so for anal instead of the 500 Euro going rate in Prague. Just my guess.
If she is not well known to US directors than she certainly earns less at first. From which she gradually has to work up for a good fee. I think this is just fair, no matter how do-anything-minded she may be. Its all just supply and demand. And an unknown Russian or Romanian girl for instance is not demanded much when she starts.
_swede_, actually I also dont think that Euro girls work for too little payment in Europe. It`s rather the other way round. The Prague and Buda fees are getting so high that they deter US directors to fly over to shoot there. To earn a Czech average monthly salary for just one dp shot in Prague for example doesnt sound bad, IMO.

Other than contract girls, performers are all independant contractors, not employees. They get don't get payroll taxes deducted and they don't receive W-2's. They receive 1099's and are responsible for paying both the employer and employee portions of Social Security taxes.
Not true. Read California's laws. MANY companies do take taxes and SS out of paychecks.

Besides, I dont think escorting and acting in porn films is comparable to an extent zour post suggests. Acting in porn films is working with a known pool of other actors, escorting is far less predictable fucking.
Angel Dark probabely suffers from the current shooting crisis in Prague caused by too high talent rates. If she could freely travel to the US, she`d gladly work there for lower than standard fees in porn, I guess. Its a pity she is a victim of travel restrictions.
