I've only ever used FiveStar in the U.S., but there seem to be many other reputable companies. I ordered a single disc from Fivestar and didn't get chared any customs fees, so it cost about £20 inc. postage, aren't Vidshops discs £30 each before postage? Very few people seem to experience difficulties with delivery from the states with customs etc, and they seem to have a wider product range aswell. If there are any real bonuses to ordering in Europe will someone please tell me!!  [Link] |

I just hope other European retailers follow suit. The US is without doubt the cheapest place to buy US produced porn but you still need to look closer home for the European sourced stuff. All I can say is that now they are a little too expensive. The advantage, as Charlie says, is that you can get the movies that are not available in the US, or indeed Euro versions of US titles. Charlie is right - porn has always been expensive, we're used to softcore rip-offs, hugely expensive bootlegs and so on, even now the legal R18 category is more expensive than American porn. In fact, a lot of consumer goods are more expensive in the UK and Europe than the US, and porn is no different! I shall refrain from commenting on Vidshop! [Link] |
