Btw, do you have the original version or the Shiva version of this movie?

And as was evidenced by your previous topic about Ass Worship 1 that was moved to the tech talk forum, Tricia did read it and respond--saying she would see what she could do to help you. To my knowledge the only "technical support" person your going to find at Evil Angel in terms of DVD problems and compatibility is Tricia, and her email address is readily available in the forum. I'm sure your situation is complicated by the fact that you are in Germany--and the wheels are going to grind a bit more slowly because of that. My experience with Tricia is that she will do what she can to help you, and to correct the problem if it indeed was an authorship or replication problem that is under Evil Angel's control. If you got the Shiva version, as Ramsey asked, Evil Angel may have little or no quality control over the disc authorship and replication because of the nature of how their stuff is distributed overseas. In any case, I'm no expert, but believe me, people will read your posts here, and subjects like this are a major part of what tech talk was created for. Mike L. Give it a little time and give her a chance. Tricia, and many others, do read the tech talk forum. DenverDon Edited by - DenverDon on 10/18/2003 2:55:18 PM |
| tricia_devereaux Evil Angel DVD Patience is a virtue, but who wants to be virtuous? 4283 Posts 4/00 | Anyway, DVD_Freak, I had thought that you were a different person who had emailed me about Ass Worship 2 weeks ago, because that person was also from Germany. We don't have a specific policy for exchanges for outside the United States, so we have to deal with every case on a one-by-one basis. If you had said you had a problem with one copy, I probably would have quickly decided to exchange your copy. But since you've had problems with 2 different copies, and you're in Europe, it might too risky to try the same movie again. After all, these are batch-replicated DVDs, which should be supposedly as identical as possible. The other problem is that at Evil Angel, our defective policy is one of exchange. That means that our first action is always to tell the person to exchange it at the place of purchase. If for some reason that doesn't work, we will exchange it. That means that the customer pays for shipping to us when they send the non-working copy to us, and we pay for shipping back to the customer. Please understand that I'm not trying to be sarcastic to you. I'm just trying to illustrate with examples the situations that we need to avoid. I am not saying at all that we don't believe you. I am only saying why we need to have the policies that we do. |
