It seems that the moderators of this forum want to quash any discussion about vendors other than FiveStar. I'll share my experience but I wouldn't expect the thread to stay open long. I have placed several orders, for both VHS and DVDs, with Excalibur. Each time I've received the correct items in a reasonable amount of time. I've contacted their customer service by phone and by e-mail and have always had a prompt and responsive reply. Their selection of DVDs is second only to Adult Empire and their prices are very competitive. The only consistant negatives are their relatively high shipping charges (which are waived for orders over $100) and their painfully slow web servers. Too be fair, I have also had excellent service from FiveStar and their prices are considerably lower on some DVDs. I'll continue to buy DVDs from both of these sites.

I'm not quite sure what you mean "the moderators of this forum want to quash any discussion about vendors other than FiveStar." The only cases I've seen that anything about other vendors was quashed involved spamming. I think the ADT crew is quite open to people finding new stores. Now, they may not choose to affilate with them, but they don't discourage anyone from shopping there or talking about their experences.
The last Excalibur thread was moved to the Shopping forum and is still open: [url=466359]https://www.adultdvdtalk.com/forum/topic.asp?topic_id=1661&forum_id=4&cat_id=1</A

Hi, Gargoyle--
I'm one of the moderators here (over on the queer forum) so you may think I'm biased about all this, but...
I've never gotten the slightest indication that anyone here was trying to limit the forum discussions or vendor evaluations to one set group of "partners"... Where did you get that impression? From the locked thread below? If so, I suspect that you misunderstood.
The only thing the moderators were (and are) trying to do is to have each sub-forum designed for a specific kind of subject. We're hoping that consumer evaluations of vendors will end up in the sub-forum marked "SHOPPING". That's all.
When the moderators move a topic to a new location, it shows up as a "locked" topic in the old one.
If fact, that may happen to this one too, if the purpose of the thread is to discuss your experiences with Excalibur...
Believe me, Steph and company know perfectly well that in order for this site to grow and become a respected consumer resourse, that censorship (or discouraging free discussion of any site) is completely wrong and counter-productive...<small>

And since I didn't say so before--thanks for letting me know about a vendor I'd never heard of before. I'm glad you've gotten good service from them. Now I'm going to check and see if they have any gay inventory... <small>

We want feedback on all retailers - we just want it in the proper forum. We've been working really hard on a system for you guys to input online store reviews (similar to the DVD reviews database.)
I'm moving this thread to the shopping forum, but please continue it there.
