Are they still around? Their twitter and facebook pages say site maintenance, but it has been down for two days now. Yes, I still use them on occasion.

On Excalibur:
If they have an online order form, then they're still in business. This is how I got suckered into buying something from them. I ordered from them two months ago(March 2013) and haven't seen my one dvd I ordered. I've never bought porn vhs/dvds through the mail, ever. Magazines yes, Playboy, Juggs etc. This was my first time purchasing a dvd as it is an older title and my remaining local retailer guy was reticent to backorder, as the Baltimore distributor for our region is no longer in business and his new guy has to come from Philly. I don't blame my guy for not even bothering with backorder cause look at the 'shit' you have to go through to get one dvd. The weird thing is that the film in question (2003 release) is streaming on numerous online sites, but I want the dvd for personal/permanent reasons. Streaming content comes-and-goes. I emailed their customer service about the dvd, and yes they did contact me saying it had to be back-ordered. Then they started pulling what many in this industry start doing when they can't meet your request, they offer you something else. I don't want something else made it clear that it was imperative that I get this specific title I requested. I wished I had noticed this thread before I purchased. After two months what shall I do about the dvd? It doesn't take two months to send one dvd of a film made in 2003. Hell! the 40 year old Deep Throat can be had in two days Express Mail. The Post-Office says you should give online retailers 4 weeks before complaining about non receiving of merchandise. Right now Im giving Excalibur the benefit of my doubt. Never again this!

At this point I would tell them to refund your money and cancel the order. Obviously the disc is not currently in print if it has been back ordered this long. You can always ask them to send you an e-mail if the title does ever go back in stock.
Out of curiosity, what is the title? Have you checked out Adult DVD Marketplace, where if it is currently out of print you might be able to pick up a used copy?

great advice you gave. I thought I was being fair enough waiting 3 months. They're processing a refund. Several copies, of the film, with various prices are at the AdultDVDMarketplace.com but I've never ordered or signed up with them. Thanks again!

^ ADULTDVDMARKETPLACE.COM is a great site with great prices. Just be aware that it's like AMAZON with multiple sellers and the speed of delivery depends on that particular seller. You'll never have to wait months to get your order but depending on the seller it could be a couple of days or a couple of weeks. Try to go with the seller with the best ratings and the one nearest to where you live. The further away the package has to travel the longer the wait and the more chances it has to get lost in the mail. Some sellers have the option of media mail or first class for a few bucks more and some offer first class for free.
Unlike EXCALIBUR the sellers on ADULTDVDMARKETPLACE only/mostly offer up DVD they actually have in stock.

.
I also see that Excalibur films on ADM has a "High Refund Rate" ( I know that I had one) ...
.. you would think that after so much bad business practice , that they would be booted from Adult DvdMarketplace ...
.. has anybody actually ordered / AND RECEIVED anything from them in the last 6 months ?
.. any POSITIVE reviews ?
.. I'll never place another order through them , just curious if/how they are still operating as a business , with this horrendous track record ..

I tried to check for you the last time I had ordered from them, but it has apparently been so long that they deleted my account.

This sorry online company represents everything negative about the porn business. Indeed they and others help to shoot the Adult industry in the foot. Im sorry I ever wrote reviews for any movies advertised on their site back in the early days of the web. There used to be something called the Better Business Bureau to expose fraudsters like Excalibur and/or put them out of business. It's impossible to get your refund back especially if you live clear across the country. Anybody spending money with Excalibur has to take it as a loss when they stiff people on paid merchandise or refunds. It shouldn't be that way and all of porndom suffers because of flakey companies like Excalibur.

I have ordered from Excalibur video for almost 10yrs and have had very little to no trouble with them at all; however, recently I am experiencing a lot of trouble with them. I ordered 2 Dvds and have not received anything. I am ready to cut my losses and never order a dam thing from them ever. If anybody knows of a good mail order company similar to Excalibur Video, please let me know.

If you guys are paying with credit cards, you do know that all you really need to do is complain directly to your credit card issuer, right?
Once your card issuer has determined that you were charged improperly (e.g. items never sent, never received, no reply to your inquiries, etc.), they will just debit the merchant's account and credit yours.
Duck soup.
Of course, unscrupulous porn dealers count on consumers being reluctant to discuss porn purchases with their credit card issuer. And, some people have spouse issues. Also, if you allow the fraud drag-on for many months, the credit card issuer may consider the matter stale, and refuse to intervene.
So, contact your credit card issuer sooner rather than later, and spare yourself from getting ripped-off.

Adultdvdmarketplace.com. Much better prices and only dvds that are actually availble are offered on the site unless noted. But remember that instead of buying from one company you'd actually be buying from individual sellers that are rated. It's basically the Amazon of adult dvds.

These scumbags are still in business(as of March 3 '14). They have an operating online site that is waiting for the gullible and unknowing. Sparkie if you feel you've been frauded, you can go to the U.S. Post Office's web site (USPS.gov) and find and click the link called 'Mail Fraud', which is an online form to fill out. This also notifies the Postal Inspector. In my case that's why I use a postal money order with serial #No. and stub. I gave my information and the Post Office got back to me, with Xerox copies, showing the money order had been cashed. So these Excalibur guys are in business to fuck people over. If you use US post money order, save your money order stub and the mailing receipt. An important tip is when you order from any new company the first time buy one item, maybe a cheap item, to see how the company responds to orders. I thank God I didn't order the multiple items from Excalibur that I originally intended to order or I would been out of a good deal of money. But in all get the feel of a new company before you make big orders. You can't help it, but there is an element of trust when ordering through the mail. Excalibur defies that trust with customers.

Excalibur Films are the worst DVD adult site ever.
They charge for membership before you can even order a product.
Plus, their customer service is a complete shambles.

I placed an order with Excalibur for the first time last month. Never again! For over a month they told me the dvd I ordered was on its way to there warehouse then they said they didn't know when or if the dvd would be in stock. I had to pick another dvd for the same price. every time I found a dvd for the same price that I wanted they would tell me it was out of stock when it showed it was in stock on there website. After about five times I finally chose an older title for the same price.

Adult dvd marketplace is by far the best place to buy DVDs! Excalibur is charging 34.95 for a new release that comes out today and adm had it for 13.50
