I meant to leave the show early but time got away from and I didn't leave until after 10:45pm. Hence, I had not time to eat or shower, so I just dropped off my gear at the hotel and set out for the city. I'd never driven in to New York before and the Map app on my iPhone gave me the most complicated route possible. Across Staten Island, along the north Brooklyn shoreline and a quick trip through Queens and finally the Queensboro Bridge into the east of Midtown. it took me an hour & a half and circling the block a few times to find somewhere to park but I made it. Being the heart of Manhattan, Sapphire's is a fairly small club with a small stage. Half of the building was the strip club and the other half was a steakhouse restaurant. Since it was an official eXXXotica After Party, admission was free to all eXXXotica VIP, Media & Exhibitors. They did have a mandatory coat check for $3, which I paid. The feature show stated a little after 1am and last until almost 2am. They had all girls go up on stage back-to-back-to-back so there was no waiting between shows. Jayden came out first. Her outfit was a schoolgirl inspired theme and she show was a slow & sensual performance. A very nice show, but unfortunately the audience didn't appreciated it as much as they should have. I think she made maybe $11 in tips (Charmane & Kaylani didn't fare much better either I'm sorry to say). Charmane Star was up next in a very fancy & lingerie out with bra panties, g-string, stockings and high heels. I had seen her dance once before in the summer of 2011 ans her show was very similar: a slower sensual pace with lots of up-close interaction with the people sitting by the rail. At one point she step down off the stage to dance for a guy sitting in a chair in the front show for few moments before returning to the stage. All-in-all a solid outing by Charmane Star. For the grand finale, there was the gorgeous Kaylani Lei dress in a corset with knee-high rubber/latex boots. Her show was the most well balanced of the three with a good mixture of fast & slow dancing. Her eyes were closed for much of her performance as she moved with the rhythm of the music. You could almost feel the erotic and sensual energy coming off her as she danced. A very good show Kaylani Lei. After the girls' shows, the DJ announced they would be available for pictures, autographs and private dances but after waiting nearly 25 minutes I never saw them come back out. It was nearly 2:30am and I still had a 90 minute drive back to Edison, I had to leave. I wish I had some photos for you but there wasn't a meet-&-greet and the place was crawling with security, so trying snap a photo of the girls dancing on stage would have been suicide. [Link] |

I don't remember the name of the dealer but their prices for DVDs were OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. So after forking over a pound of flesh, I had my own personally autographed copy of "L for London". To be fair they did throw in a free poster but I had to pay to have it shipped home. There was no way to bring it with me on the airplane without it being damaged, so it really wasn't free now that I think about. As you can see in the photo the table was right up against the booth divider and they had a large DVD right next to London so there was no room for her stand for me to take any picture of her. Hence, this single headshot of her sitting down was all I could get. As for London herself, she was very quiet, almost shy, and didn't speak much, so our visit was rather short. When a fan got his turn with her, he picked what he wanted to buy and he could talk with Lisa for 30-60 seconds while she autographed his DVD or 8x10. Then she would pose with him for a photo, after which she would say great to meet you and send him on his way. Lisa doesn't usually use the assembly line approach. This weekend she was so busy, she had to in order to meet as many fans as possible during her signing time to make sure no one got left out.
