After this, I switched my camera to video mode and recorded the rest on video. They auction off a lap dance and two guys paid $200 each to get a lap dance for the girls. One guy got Allie Haze & Kristina Rose, the other got Aleksa Nicole & Tasha Reign. Next, Stoya offered to slap someone for cash. Believe it or not, there was actually a small bidding war and the winner paid $125 for the privilege. When he got up on stage, Stoya didn't just slap him, she smacked the shit outta him! After that came the part where the girl collected cash from the crowd. For the finale, the host dragged J. Handy, the mastermind behind eXXXotica, up on stage for some kudos. She didn't want to take off her jacket because she was cold. I replied that was fine by me. She must really like the ankle boots because she wore them all three days at the show. I complimented her on her show the previous night at Sapphire's and told her how much more confident and comfortable she looked on-stage. I almost didn't recognize her without her trademark curly hair. When I asked about it, she said that her new hairstyle is the one she originally started out with when she first started in the business. She wasn't getting noticed, so she changed it to her famous curls everyone knows her for. Now that she's made a name for herself, she felt comfortable changing it back to straight again. A beautiful girl and great performer, I hope her success in the industry continues. [Link]

She had come down with the flu and wasn't feeling very well, but she powered through it and came to the show anyway. She's a New Jersey native and her mom stills lives there, so I asked how she made out with the storm. She said they got very lucky with minimal damage and lost power for a few days but that it was back on all ready. Joanna is a wonderful girl whom I always look forward to seeing at a show. [Link]

She's very tall at 5'8" with an athletic figure and a that girl next door face. She mentioned that she started out a model for Nike for their woman's clothing line. If your wife/girlfriend had bought any Nike brand clothing over the last couple years, know that it was designed based on Teal's body type. I asked how she likes being in the industry and she replied that she's really enjoying it so far. Very nice girl with a great figure who is definitely someone to watch. [Link]

As you've all ready guessed, he was there promoting "Spartacus MMXII: The Beginning". He dressed in regular clothes on Friday but wore his costume on Saturday & Sunday. We spoke for solid 20+ plus minutes about the movie. He had a couple photo books of stills from the movies. Everything from glamor shots of the girls to behind the scenes pics. He told me story after story about the making the movie from casting, building the sets to makeup and costume design. He told me how they made all the costumes themselves and they made all the weapons too, which were real. That helmet he's holding was custom made of real metal and it was heavy! He really poured his heart and soul in to this movie. While inspired by the Starz TV series, it is not a literal adaption and the plot varies greatly. Marcus is is very proud of this movie and said he plans to be a at every adult industry event to promote it. He and I both lamented Miko Lee's last minute cancellation of her appearance at the show, but added that she would be at AEE. I have to give kudos to Marcus London and his production crew for all the hard work they put in to this movie. They took a HUGE risk making a big budget adult movie in this day & age of piracy. He's a director who used to work for Anabolic and is now the co-owner/webmaster of the Puba network. In addition to London, they also run the official websites of Asa Akira, Samantha Saint, Charley Chase, Lily Carter, Skin Diamond and many more. I thanked him for all the effort he puts in to his vlog on YouTube. He has over 200 videos of behind the scenes footage of his life in the business from shooting scenes, decorating sets, lighting setups, editing videos, and traveling on the road with the girls. He's not just web,aster but also a director, cameraman, set designer, editor, and roadie for the girls on the road feature dancing. If you watch his videos, you'll see that he often gets home after midnight only leave again at 5am to setup for a shoot or go to the airport to catch a plane. When I asked about his lack of sleep, he replied that his friends are worried that he's going to have a heart from such brutal work schedule! A very hard working and cool guy, who really goes the extra mile for the fans. [Link]

She stayed seated again as she was very sick this weekend, so much so she said she got physically ill before coming to the show that day. I almost couldn't believe it as she looked perfect. How she managed to look so beautiful despite being extremely sick is is a mystery. Some seriously hardcore dedication to her fans by Jada Stevens. Without a doubt, my pick for the show MVP award. I got lucky to finally see her as it was around 6pm and the show was closing at 7pm. I looked for her several times through out the weekend but every time I went by her booth she wasn't there. Instead she was out walking the floor and meeting other pornstars herself. Beautiful girl with an insane body and a terrific performer. She truly loves meeting the fans. While everyone has been fawning over other new girls like Remy Lacroix or Anikka Albrite, most have overlooked Kendra. Or at least on this website they have as Kendra has over 83k followers on Twitter all ready, more than Remy & Anikka combined. (Please note, I'm NOT knocking Remy* or Anikka. I'm just saying they aren't the only new girls to have made a big splash in the industry this year!)* In less than six months Kendra's shot for Brazzers, Girlfriends Films, Filly Films, Bang Bros, Wicked, Sweetheart Films, Evil Angel, Pornfidelity, Naughty America, Jules Jordan, Reality Kings and others. Another issue working against her is that since she's in her thirties, she's usually stuck in the role of a MILF or cougar. Add to that is the fact that she doesn't do anal, DP or IR yet so her exposure to hardcore gonzo fans has been limited. While she probably won't win, she certainly has earned a Best New Starlet nomination at next year's AVN Awards. Even if you're not a fan of the MILF genre, be sure to check out Kendra Lust as she is a gorgeous girl and a terrific performer. [Link]

Can I assume you didn't have enough money to make a stop at that pizza place between the club and parking garage? I forgot its name, but that slice of pizza was actually the highlight of my night when I last visited that club. Anywho, entertaining read. Call me wacky, but I almost wish you'd post less photos in lieu of more write-ups like the Sapphire Odyssey. That's what brings me back to your reports, time and again. [Link]

Click to expand Believe it or not, while it was tedious & time consuming, it really wasn't that bad. It was a long wait with a lot of red tape but I was hanging out with the girls the whole time while I waited. I joked with Tori that we might actually get out of the club in time for her son's high school graduation (he just turned a year old last month.) Besides, who knows if Tori will ever go back to shooting or if Jynx will ever get booked in Miami to dance, so I saw this as a rare opportunity. Click to expand I'd love to write more but as a veteran of adult conventions yourself, you know that a lot of the time the conversations are pretty cookie cutter. "Hi! How are you? What have you been up to? What do you have coming up?" The answers are usually similar too. A lot of "Rinse. Lather. Repeat." I do try mix it up a little by talking to some one other than girls, like Marcus London or Ivan. I try to include the little things too like Lexi Belle's annoyed photo, Alexis Texas flogging the sub, or Kristina Rose flipping off all her haters. I even try to get some variety on the photos, like Jynx Maze in the parka or Jayden Lee fellating a lollicock. The impromptu charity drive on stage during the Q&A panel was very entertaining as well, especially Stoya practically beating up that guy. Thanks for reading and for commenting.
