It seems that all the girls who were dancing at Sapphire's that weekend had a clause in their contracts requiring them to appear at the Sapphire booth a short period of time. She's one of the most popular BBW performers working today. She's probably best known for playing the role of Roseanne in Roseanne: The XXX Parody. Additionally she works for an adult PR firm and owns her own PR company as well. If you ever read the "Porn News" sub-forum here on ADT, she's the person behind the KellyFAM press releases. I complimented her on her work and told her I wished she and her fellow BBW performers got more of the attention and appreciation they deserve. Too many people in this world think a girl has to be thin to be sexy and that's just not true. I've seen several 200lb. girls with more fire and passion in their scenes then a lot of 110lb. skinny girls. As Mika Tan said "Sexy is not a size." I'll take a fat girl who fucks like a minx over a skinny supermodel who's bedroom chemistry is as about as warm as an ice cube! Kelly mentioned how excited she is the AVN is finally given BBW it's own category at this year's award show instead of lumping it in with the "Specialty" releases. That is basically the miscellaneous category for any kind of porn that doesn't fit in to the other categories. While was there I picked one of Kelly's movies called "Evil BBW Gold" from Evil Angel. I think that part of the problem for BBW is that most of the bigger studios don't make movies in that genre, so they are stuck with the smaller studios with smaller budgets, less talented directors, and less promotional exposure. Another problem is that most of the quality male performers don't seem to want to do scenes with BBWs. Meaning the girls get stuck with no-name male performers who can't perform as well, which drags down the quality of the scene. This movie was an exception to the rule being from Joey Silvera/Evil Angel and had recognizable male performers, which is why I picked it. Overall, it was terrific to finally meet Kelly Shibari. She had not yet arrived at the expo when I stopped by the Burning Angel booth earlier. She's been doing well. Living in LA full-time and shooting scenes, doing some house dancing. I congratulated her on being booked to shoot for companies other than Burning Angel. Surprisingly, Stormy Daniels booked Jessie for one of her Wicked movies earlier this year called "Divorcees". I have to admit that Wicked would probably be the last company I would expect to book a heavily tattooed girl like Jessie More recently, she appeared in "Inked Angels 2" for Kevin Moore/Evil Angel. I'm glad that other directors outside of BA like Kevin and Jonni Darkko are finally starting to aline of movies featuring alt/emo/tattooed girls. A lot of these girls are too talented to only be shooting for BA a few times a year. I picked up a copy of her most recent BA movie "Blondes Do It Better", starring her and Kleio Valentien. I asked Jessie if she would sign her layout in my copy of Inked Magazine and she was happy to do so. I confirmed that she would be at Joanna's feature dance appearance at Sapphire's Sunday and she said she would be. With that I thanked her for everything and bid her farewell. I always enjoy seeing Jessie Lee at these shows. Just a very nice girl that I find easy to talk with. Many people (myself included) who look at Jessie are so distracted by her hair & tattoos that they fail to appreciate what an incredible body she has.
