Wow, huge fan of the casting so far. Katsumi I wouldn't of thought of first, but the more I think about it the more it makes sense.
If I may say so what I really appriciate about seeing the likes of Katsumi and Belladonna being cast in a sequel to a film as big as "Fashionistas" is that these two performers are crazy talented. What I mean is sure there are lots of other starletts out there hotter than these two (don't get me wrong these two are total hotties) however there are VERY FEW out there who are as talented. Not only can these two turn on the sexual heat and become total exhibitionist for the cameras, they are capable of physical feats that put them in an elite class.
Anyway just my two cents, I guess what I really mean to say is this one sounds frickin great and this Sasha Grey sounds like a girl to watch for.
So my Tushy went to Vegas for the shooting of Fashionistas 2, It was quite exciting I got to meet the performers from the actual Vegas show Fashionistas & I got to be on their actual stage & be part of a runway model show for the new movie playing a Dom. Some of the cast that was there with me was BellaDonna, Jenna Haze, Sandra Romain, Melissa Lauren,Gianna (with the huge boobies), a brand new girl Sasha Grey (was her 1st porn anything), Rocco Sinfredi,& Manuel Ferarra. Jenna Haze, Gianna and Rocco Siffredi were playing around at the beginning of the scene, and we finished their scene yesterday.

Yes, Mark Davis and Marie Luv had sex. Except for the girl/girl people, pretty much everyone had sex with everyone. It worked out great though, because it was a really big room, so it wasn't just a huge heap of people, it was like small groups or couples, then a couple people would switch, then a little later, a couple more people would switch.
And the plot is still under wraps, and will continue to be for awhile. This is the only part I will say for a few months: Rocco's character gets enticed to go to Berlin, where he somehow comes into contact with Katsumi and Nacho's characters.
I remember seeing this film and not knowing the Caroline Pierce was in the business. I saw I thought she was a B movie actress and then it all went down. I've been a fan of hers ever since.
Tricia, where do you rate F2 success wise in John's career? Could it be his biggest release to date? I'm thinking it has to be big big to make it a worthy successor to Fashionistas.

broncster - sorry to say that for reasons beyond our control, Sunny Lane was not able to be in the movie. She had a bad allergic reaction a couple days before she was supposed to shoot for us, and she was recast.
On a positive note, it was Sasha Grey who was able to step in, so although I feel badly for Sunny, I'm SO glad that we were able to cast Sasha.

Confused here: Tricia writes the plot is "under wraps," as if plot is crucial (which it should be in any feature film), yet to inadequately try to explain the absence of Helena's character, the dynamic Taylor St Claire from Fashionistas "Phew," she posts that her and John, "don't want to get hung up on the plot."
Without Taylor (Helena) in F2 youall have no plot, or even the basis of a sequel.
To offer an analogy,its like Jaws II, without the shark!
No Sunny Lane? Oh, well. Does the allergic reaction explain why she has been taken down from Spieglergirls site? Because going by her lack of presense on any agencies' website Sunny is either independent again, on a break, or retired.She looks good. However, I'm assuming that the uncanny similarities to Taylor's infamous red dress from the original are intentional.

Jesse explains to a reporter near the beginning of Fashionistas 2, "Antonio has taken over the running of the business since Helena is now gone." In our minds, after Fashionistas was done, we always that Helena's bark was worse than her bite. I've known a lot of psycho girls who vow revenge, only to complain about forever but never do anything about it. After all, if she had been that strong of a woman, she wouldn't have lost out to Jesse in the first place.
Don't worry, there is a nemesis in this one. The plot is under wraps because believe it or not, there are some people who actually like to be surprised by plot twists in a movie, and it was my nice way of saying, "wait and watch the movie. Or, if you don't want to buy it, that's fine, then wait and read a review."
Oh - and NO, the red was not intentional. It's just that there are very few colors that look STUNNING in latex, and red is one of them.
Here I was overthinking it, reasoning that "Jesse" was adourned in a similar assless red latex dress as a subtle connection to "Helena" (either as an homage or an indication in the chages in "Jesse" since the original or as a simple reminder that "Jesse" was always the designing brains behind "Helena"). However, that again is me making assumptions without actually knowing much about the actual film. Any latex dresses ripped without warning this time around, like Rocco did to Taylor's dress during their scene in the original? Or did you guys learn your fiscal lesson on that one last time around?

Tricia is there going to be a screening of the film or release party? I think a few of the die hards here would love to attend and I think that it would be enough to finally get me out to the coast
I'm sure the red dress has to be symbolic for something. I already said that picture shows Jesse's move up the financial and social ladder, so the dress would most likely be symbolic for something like power and desire.
I can't wait to see what plot twists are in the movie. It will be interesting to see who Jesse will be up against next. She's no longer lacking self-confidence, so I wonder what someone would do to her and by what means. It will be interesting to see what S&M imagery is featured this time.
Speaking of a screening of the movie, if this one has a reasonable running time, will it ever be shown as a midnight feature in movie theatres? I always pictured the first one as a midnight movie, but of course its running time prevents that from happening. However, it still could be a cult film, and I hope it achieves that status.

That shot of Belladonna made my screen melt. Any questions about Rocco's height should be put to rest now. Taller than Erik, but a few inches short of Christian. I'd say about 6' even.
Tricia you mentioned awhile back that you were looking into a great collector's edition box if it was possible. Are you going to double dip like the mainstream films and re-release the original in a whole new package Seriously though, I'd buy one.
