I also think Rocco is a great performer. And I think that Nacho Vidal is a great performer, too. Both of them can be too rough with women at times for my sensibility, but they also both bring so much vitality and interactivity (i.e., passionate/sexual energy exchange with their partners) to their performances that their "presence" (on several levels) cannot and should not be ignored.
Despite my admiration for Rocco, however, I don't much like to watch the films that he directs himself in -- both because I find his scenes generally too "over-populated" for my tastes and also because I find him too over-the-top when he's unrestrained by the monitoring sensibility of another person behind the camera.
But in John Stagliano's videos, he's unbelievably good -- and in "FASHIONISTAS", in particular, he was about as brilliant as a porn actor can be in integrating sexual performance and pure acting in one role. (As an aside, I believe that there are far finer actors in the porn world, in terms of "pure acting" ability alone, but that's another story altogether and no knock on Rocco in the least.)
