too many for me to list. I personally have increasingly moved toward Amateur/Pro-Am material, at the cost of mainstream (overproduced IMO) porn. I would start with Homegrown series as I especially like the Homegrown Cherries series, even though I'm not sure what specific tastes you enjoy (teen, MILF...). I'm interested in hearing other ADT veterans Am/Pro-Am suggestions, as I've been meaning to ask this myself. Happy hunting demontail. PS There's another voyeur series, but I'm not sure of the specifics. Someone sent me a link with those webpages with <1 minute promo trailers that was really good amateur scenes. One hot chick (resembled an girl I used to know) wore a pearl necklace (no pun intended), while another had a circular snake eating itself, if I remember correctly. I was a big fan of the "classic" Homegrown Video VHS (probably 2 or 3 owners ago), back when the videos were truly homemade and the starlets had name recognition, and the boxcover pics/descriptions told you a lot about the action on the tape. The modern Homegrown is all so generic-looking (from the titles and boxcover art) and the descriptive blurbs so generic-sounding, that I can't bring myself to rent even a single one. But...the new Homegrown does look slicker and more professional; I think they are using professional crews nowadays instead of the DIY approach. I doubt today's porn consumer would put up with the homemade look anyway.
I am not a fan of Homegrown. It’s too hit or miss for me. They are typically kindof short and with only four scenes. If one of the scenes isn’t too my liking (almost a certainty) then there are just three scenes left to like. I have seen some Cherries that I liked, too. I can recommend Big Breast Amateur Girls I hadn’t heard of Homegrown Classics before. I will give that a try. Can you recommend one in particular? Some of the stuff that’s being put out by ATK is pretty good. I like the ATK Galleria series. There are a lot of scenes per film to make up for the hit or miss quality of most amateur scenes. I also really liked the ATK Petite Amateurs. I kind of like some of the stuff that Bang Bros does. I’ve watched a lot of episodes of Bang Bus. For the most part it’s just terrible stuff but the girls are hot and I think some of them performed just that once. Mr. Camel Toe is another series from the Bang Bros that I like. It’s not classified as amateur but you’ll see some one-time-wonders in it. I think some of the series that Pink Visual puts out is classified as amateur or pro-am. Her First Lesbian Sex is probably “fake amateur” but it’s one of my favorites, and there are always some real new girls. Cum Fiesta isn’t classified as amateur, but there seems to always be some real new girls. A lot of people like the stuff coming out of Abby Winters. I have the same problem with them as I do with Homegrown: not enough scenes. SMG bills itself as amateur lesbian but I’m not sure they really qualify.
I just invented that term "classic" to refer to the original VHS stuff from the 1980's-90's. I don't think they even bothered to release them in DVD format. But on the Homegrown Video website, which is essentially a VOD site, the "Vintage" category contains scenes from that VHS era. Some of the performers I remember are Deina, Maggie, Scarlett, a couple called "Dick and Pussy", a black guy named Sam Shaft who always wore a Lone Ranger-type mask...quite a few memorable characters. I believe the infamous Felashia even made a few appearances at Homegrown.

Some of the best amateur/homemade content I've come across: HomePornoTapes. Tammy is not only a sex goddess & BTF, her scene was the best amateur performance I've seen to date and even destroys 99% of pro scenes I've seen. Comes across legitimately horny and wants it. Looks like she can ride for days. This (Stella?) chick is extremely hot (love her outfit) and looks innocent at first, but comes across like a freak in bedroom. These chicks are why I love amateur.
As far as I'm concerned, Homegrown has been coasting on their reputation for years and probably wouldn't be doing much of anything anymore if they just started three or four years ago. There's a few decent scenes now and then, but more often than not they feel like they're just sloppy instead of really being amateur or homemade movies, and with how consistent much of the male talent is I can barely even consider them pro-am. They're also one of the worst studios out there for not delivering on what they boxcover advertises. Out of fifteen Homegrown reviews, I have yet to give them more than 2 1/2 stars (an average rating), and only 4 of the 15 have done that. Homesextapes.com has some pretty good stuff. It's real homemade stuff and a bit hit or miss. My eleven reviews range from 1/2 of a star to 4 1/2 stars with only 3 of them dropping below the average mark. Marie Madison is breaking into the big time now, but some of her early stuff has an amateur feeling to it that worked very well for me. Out of 15 total reviews only 2 have dropped below the average level, and many of them are at 3 1/2 stars and higher. The best I've found for amateur porn is Shot at Home's stuff (of which I've wrote plenty of reviews that you can check out). It's true amateur and homemade stuff and the website gives a great writeup on what you can expect in each release. I'm rarely disappointed by what Shot at Home puts out, and there's plenty of variety there to fit what you're looking for. Amateur titles are my favorite and I have a suggestion. My favorite amateur material is from the studio "Odyssey" which has a long series titled "Amateur Extravaganza". I've viewed just about all from a long list at SugarDVD and can list the ones I rated as either 4 or 5 stars. They are each 4 hour compilation, most quite old and much of it from the 90s and not always a sharp picture. This series has a lot of crap but these volumes have some great scenes. Volumes I really liked: 7, 9, 22, 29, 46, 48, 68, 77, 78, 82, 94, 105 and 107.

Astroknight, Thanks for the recommendations and veteran genre breakdown/analysis. I'm getting more and more into it. I really enjoy the more candid and natural feel to many of the scenes, not necessarily motivated by performers trying to score the box cover honor and rabid directors. Also I love finding the hidden talent - really hot am/pro-am girls who give great performances, in their more "natural states" before being exposed to the mainstream porn machine (not always a bad thing, but...). I'll check out some of your reviews. BTW, what do you think of the Real Sex Magazine series? Thanks.
There is a girl on the tube sites who IMO is a deep throat master and amatuer too who has a massive fan base due to her skills. It's been years since I checked out the Real Sex Magazine series. I remember them being okay. Nothing outstanding, but nothing that sucked either. Oh, and one of the other things I like from Shot at Home, some porn stars (Selena Silver and Kimber Lace come to mind immediately) have shot homemade movies for them so you get a bit more of that personality.
