I just got done watching Bustful of Dollars by RLD...I love RLD and PXP, but if this is what they are going to start churning out, I'm done renting their flicks. I thought it was horrible. Everything from the camera angles, the colors and worst of all, the music. I've been watching gonzo since Ed Powers started back in the late 80's and love it. RLD has put out outstanding gonzo. I just hope they keep gonzo releases as part of their mix. By the way, Brianna Love is probably one of the hottest chicks in porn today. Just my two cent.

I agree they should keep the mix. As gonzo has taught us sometimes less is more.

But i really does not like the wide screen and the lighting style of these feature gonzo. I wonder if it is good for the RLD to produce such works as we just see the similar director and the similar casts from those works so far.

I have seen some of them and did not enjoy at all.

I've never seen a feature gonzo(just read the review about Bustful of dollars). But it's not what I really like.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of doing feature gonzo, I like gonzo with a authentic theme.

For example taking real first time actors and watching their efforts in a series of some gonzo-movies.
Something that has been done in Squirting 101, only that it wasn't done always in a real order. (It was registered as a documentary)

So I really like the idea that some parts of a gonzo series tell a story together. (non-scripted)
Just how the people work together, develop new skills and like or dislike each other.

Are there more examples of this?

I don't find anything inherently wrong with the idea of feature gonzo besides the fact that the term is an oxymoron. Isn't Fashionistas an example of what that genre can be? The biggest problem I forsee is that in order to justify the expense, videos have to be produced with the intent to reach a wider audience, and consequently will have soft versions along with less distinctive shots. That would be like throwing cold water on the whole production. People complain about the staleness of contemporary gonzo all the time. Adding some fresh approaches can't be a bad thing.

I love the current gonzos out there...a little interview, some good bts, and the rest is sex with hot young girls. That's all I really want. If I want features, I'll rent from Vivid or Wicked (which I never do). It's a personal preference.

Features can have hot sex. That's a separate issue from what cable providers want. Which is a separate issue from what the distributors want (remember, the distributors drive the market).

If anybody does watch Vivid, they know that most of the stuff you see in gonzo is there as well, it just isn't wall-to-wall. The problems arise when the acting and production values fall short of believability.
