Although I have always beem highly skeptical of those over the top geysers seen in porn today, I have always believed in the veracity of female ejaculation. Recently my beliefs were confirmed when I experienced it personally for the first time. In reality, it was more of a steady trickle than a gusher, and it left the woman weak, tremulous and spent.

My question, then, is this:

Do any of you believe there is or may be an emotional connection to a woman's ability to "squirt" (as it were)?

I ask because in my situation the setting was very emotional, intense and charged - indeed probably the last time to people who care very deeply for each other will ever see each other. Combined with the fact that she has never done this before, it made me wonder.

What do you think?

I was going to say that it is all emotional. The woman has to be really pissed. But that seemed snarkey. So I'll toss a more generic orgasm response into the pool, so to speak.

Orgasm, in whatever way you get it, is only partially dependent on physical stimulation. Cognitive and emotional connections are equally important.

I think this question can only be answered by a woman that has experienced squirting.

I too have been and am still skeptical of those "gushers" shown in some porn flicks but.......and this is a big but.....I have experienced the pleasure of female ejaculation for myself.....on several occasions....and look forward to experiencing it again soon.
As to whether I think that it is linked to an emotion......I am going to have to say...no. I can masturbate myself to a lovely squirting orgasm so although I do "love" myself, that is not the driving force, or should I say "liberating" force behind squirting.
I am in a long-term relationship with a man who has assisted me in really get in touch with myself and to become comfortable with my needs and desires. This in turn has led me to experience sex as never before. I am no longer afraid to ask for and take what I need from him for my own pleasure......and oh what pleasure it is!!!
As to why your woman "squirted" on your last time together.....maybe she just finally let it all go and figured she had nothing to lose and got "carried away". Just a theory.....but I bet she is wanting to do that again!!
