| star_angel126 Member 20 Posts 9/16 | Alright, so I have joined this group for one purpose: I believe there is a side of porn that simply doesn't exist. So, lots of sites advertise "female friendly" porn. This means it's not hard core or violent, generally speaking. There are Dane Jones videos, however and these are excellent. HOWEVER, the majority of porn has WOMEN in most of the shots. It's about what a MAN sees and is attracted by while having sex. Most of the time, the men featured in these videos (Dane Jones included) are barely even passably attractive. They don't have to have monster dicks, just normal penises are perfectly fine! But there's nothing worse than *ahem* enjoying yourself while watching a nice video, and the camera cuts to a vagina or the woman's face. I want to see porn that feature what a WOMAN would like to see. Like men with big, broad shoulders and backs, THICK muscular (not perfectly ripped) but thick bodies, and more than anything, I want to see his FACE. I want to hear his sounds of pleasure, I want to see the look on his face as he strokes the body of a beautiful woman. I want to see a man really enjoying himself. I'm so tired of watching videos that assume I'm a man! lol! I want to see a porn video with a beautiful man that looks like he's in love with the woman he's fucking. I don't want to try and masturbate to his sounds when he cums while I look at some girl getting cum all over his face. I want him to do it inside the girl, and I want to see that moment when every last ounce of his masculine energy releases into her. Who cares if he's wearing a condom or not? That's not the appeal! It's that moment when he loses it all... like in real life, right before they collapse and ask you to bring them a drink of water, or some kleenex to clean up their mess, because they spent every last bit of energy they had on pleasuring you... and enjoying each other's bodies... For me, it's so much about his face. And every guy I've ever given a blowjob to has said that women always look at their faces while they do it. Why? Because we want to know if they're enjoying themselves! I'm absolutely positive I'm not the only woman that wants to see her man's face when they're doing it. It's time to ACTUALLY have female porn... and if it already exists, please god tell me where to find it... I really don't watch porn all that often, but when I do - that's what I want! Some REAL lovemaking. Because there really is a difference between "fucking" and making love. Some men fuck, some men make love. I've never met one that could do both. Thanks for letting me post, and thanks to anyone that might read this :) [Link] |

Both of which seem content to ignore the needs and wants of half the population. There are a few notable exceptions to the trend (Mason of EroticaX/HardX/DarkX and Jacky St. James of New Sensations/Digital Sin immediately come to mind), but that doesn't mean that they necessarily direct movies specific to a female audience. Either way, I hope you find what you're looking for, and welcome to the board. :) [edited for typo]

There are pornographers making actual porn for women (and men who aren't scared of catching the gay) though. Check out Ms. Naughty's site Bright Desire. |

| star_angel126 Member 20 Posts 9/16 | @ScottMcGowan: Thank you for your response. What I find very interesting is, there ARE women that are at the head of some of this production. They insist that they are for women and it's complete BS. They are making porn for men. What I can't understand is, why is it that a woman can make porn geared toward men, but men can't make porn geared toward women? Surely it's possible! @GoreGoreGirl: Thank you!! Excellent source. Unfortunately, even when you "search" their site - there are three videos available for purchase. But this is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Gay porn - I've tried it. There are some very attractive men. But the anal play is a turn off for me lol. That and the fact that a lot of what I find attractive is the man's reaction when he's touching a WOMAN's body lol. Because then I can imagine it's me or whatever. That's the fun part of porn, right? I'm going to look into porn from the 70s and 80s and see what I can come up with. Do you have any good sources yourself? @Flash: looks great, but it appears you need a subscription. I'm not so into porn that I want to spend $100 every single year. I would just like to buy a movie or two and watch them over whenever I feel the desire... Here's the other thing I was thinking today... A LOT of women view men watching porn as cheating, or don't like porn for many understandable reasons. I actually tried clicking around at some of the threads on here and I thought I was going to be sick with some of the stuff these men are into. Anyway, my point is - if there was a good, solid establishment of porn for women out there, well-known and widespread - wouldn't it help men too? If you're woman is watching porn too, she can't very well accuse her man of cheating for watching it, right? Anyway, I read that this forum has people on it from the industry and I was hoping that maybe one of those people might read this and think it's a good idea. I work in business and it really doesn't make any logical sense from a business perspective either. There's SO much porn out there for men, it's got to be a competitive market, right? Why on earth aren't there more people tapping into porn for women? And advertising like crazy... because I LIKE porn and I didn't even know about some of the things you guys recommended. It's a gold mine and it's pretty much uncharted... Anyway, those are my thoughts. Thanks for the recommendations. And if anyone else has any sources, I'm all ears. |

| misspornUSA Senior Member I ♥ the male gaze (and Palestine). 8737 Posts 11/13 | I note that your definition of "female porn" is strictly hetero. So much for lesbian and bisexual porn. I mention this because it's relevant to the fact that you're not talking about "porn for women", but porn for a specific woman: you. That's fine btw, but it's something that should be cleared up before we move on. You're an individual consumer who has her own specific tastes. You are not all women. Just because you dislike or dislike a porn film/scene does not mean that that porn film/scene only or mostly appeals to men. Edited by - misspornUSA on 9/6/2016 12:33:52 AM |
| Canadian_Cindy Deactivated User 1102 Posts 2/15 | In saying that, most porn is produced in a way to appeal to the male viewer first, the female second. Why? Because a lot more men are likely to spend money on porn than women. Porn that she is advocating is the topic of many unhappy posts on ADT (men being shown too much, etc)... so I can see how she may feel. it is an interesting discussion for sure. | star_angel126 Member 20 Posts 9/16 | I'm certain the women do like the porn they are directing. But I also think that the kind of porn I have attempted to describe above is far less likely to be produced or directed by the kind of person that would be interested in it, so it is very limited. So far, all I have been able to find is what has been posted in this thread above. All of this having been said, I have been known in the past to enjoy women in porn and IRL... but for those times when that is not what I'm interested in - and this is the majority of the time - I simply can not find what I'm looking for and I have found it to be incredibly frustrating. |
| ScottMcGowan Your Choice "Skip the sex. I wanna see the stories." -Scott on Girlfriends Films 149 Posts 7/10 | As far as women's tastes in porn, I wrote the following as part of a short article I wrote on our blog. I've been kicking around the porn business since 2001 and have the ability to talk objectively about porn while not sounding pervy. As a result, women have often spoken candidly to me about their own tastes in porn. What I've discovered is this. .Women's taste in porn are as diverse as men's. The range of preferences I've heard runs from mild to wild and everything in between. I've known women who prefer porn featuring men in gay sex scenarios and those who prefer girls with girls or some threesome melange. I've talked to women who want to see simple things such as eye contact between the actors during the act of copulation. I've heard women discuss how they enjoy elaborate, and sometimes downright twisted scenarios (including those considered taboo). I've talked to women who fantasize, but are not interested in engaging in extremely rough and/or humiliating sex acts. I've heard women discuss how they want to see women in a position of power or aggression. I've known those enjoy the concepts of Dominance and submission. I've heard women say that they only wish there were more realistic looking people in porn engaging in more realistic sex. The point is this. There is no such thing as 'porn for women' because women are as diverse in tastes, experiences, motivations, and desires as men. And anyone who tells you men-are-this-way, but women-are-that-way is either lying or stereotyping. |
| star_angel126 Member 20 Posts 9/16 | Amazing that men should complain about men being shown too much when women are looking at porn that is geared entirely for men. (again overgeneralizing and assuming everyone is straight. Just trying to simplify without constantly apologizing and explaining myself) |

| ScottMcGowan Your Choice "Skip the sex. I wanna see the stories." -Scott on Girlfriends Films 149 Posts 7/10 | As far as the porn haters you describe, I can only speculate that the reasons they despise porn to such a degree has less to do with what the porn business produces and more to do with cultural issues. For every woman who has taken their sexuality firmly in hand (if you'll excuse the pun), there are possibly dozens others who have been indoctrinated into the idea that 'ladies' don't sully themselves with active sexuality. That trend is changing, to be sure. The very fact that we're having this conversation is at least some testament to that. But we have a long way to go, both in Anglophone culture and in the porn business. This is a great conversation. It's actually *gasp* civil and interesting. | Canadian_Cindy Deactivated User 1102 Posts 2/15 | If someone has a deep rooted disgust for pornography, it is not something that can be changed simply by a different type of porn. That type would still be revolted at a beautifully shot feature movie with lots of hot men and women engaging in kissing and vaginal one on one sex. They just aren't going to watch it, period. And porn should not spend huge money producing dozens of scenes to convert the "porn is disgusting" crowd. I don't think any market should be investing in trying to convert those repulsed by their industry. I wouldn't call on the beef industry to come up with some creative commercials to get activist vegans to eat meat; waste of time. What you described in your original post is not produced much. And, that likely is not going to change. When it comes to paying for sexual things (porn, strippers, escorts, you name it); men win that one a million to one..... as such, they drive the market. ANd to be frank, a lot of women watch porn to see stuff they don't get in their daily life. Romantic passion filled porn does not sell well, even to the female consumer. | star_angel126 Member 20 Posts 9/16 | And you're right it's a good chat. I quite enjoy meaningful conversation. @Canadian_Cindy: very good point. You're right catering a business to people that are not interested and against porn altogether doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I was just playing devil's advocate I suppose. I do wonder though, if some might change their minds if they saw some more tasteful content. "men drive the market" you're right again. Money will win every time. It's sad for me though! lol @fanofman: Yes, the good 'ol romance novel. I despise those! I read to expand my mind, or get involved in a believable, well-researched fiction. But romance novels... ugh... what a load of poorly written, poorly edited garbage! Videos on the other hand are great! 10 minutes or so, and I can move on with my life. Why waste hours reading something that serves no purpose? Just my opinion I guess... I would totally buy it too... that would be awesome. You know I have yet another idea for a video... what if it were a real story (like a romance novel) where you could get really attached to the characters and throughout the movie there were sex scenes? I bet some would like that. But me... I think I like just the sex part. @Jacco: I'll check those out, thank you. @GoreGoregirl: I've been looking at some vintage porn like you suggested and I'm unable to really see much of a difference between it and today's stuff. |

| Slector Member 655 Posts 2/14 | Mostly, men buy porn, and most men don't want that kind of porn. What is produced is what sells. You go where the dollars are. If you can get a few billion people to buy that kind of porn, more would be produced. The truth is very few women buy porn, and if they do they don't buy much of it. How many women do you know that have a huge porn stash? You stated that you do not watch porn very often and that you do not want to pay for a subscription to watch what you want. That is the crux of the matter. I'm not trying to insult you (please don't take it that way), but you've answered your own question. There is romantic porn out there, I've seen plenty of it. Maybe you are just not looking in the right places, I don't know. Edited by - Slector on 9/6/2016 7:59:56 AM |

| Slector Member 655 Posts 2/14 | Oh, I don't know--maybe I DID miss the whole point. After going back and reading her first post several times, it seems to me that ALL she wants to see is men's faces. Here's a thought--do what a lot of us do; buy your porn and then edit it to fit your tastes. It's not hard to do, just takes a little time. |
| balbars Member 668 Posts 4/10 | Some times my wife and I watch porn together, and from what she told me about her friends, whatever they want to watch depends on their moods, there are some directors that have tried porn for women, but they do not seem to do much films. |

| star_angel126 Member 20 Posts 9/16 | @Slector: I don't know if I would call it, "romantic" porn lol. Sure that's enjoyable. All I want is porn where men are the focus. Period. Yes, I have been talking about being able to see his face, because that's very important to me. Facial expressions mean a lot. I wish porn were reversed and you had to struggle to see parts of a woman so you could understand! Men are more than just penises. There are lot of beautiful parts on a man, and there are a lot of beautiful men in the world. But rarely are attractive men in porn. They are super ugly more than 90% of the time. If they have a big dick and want to perform, they're in. What I don't get is the majority of men have no problem being exhibitionists! If unsolicited dick pics are any indication... So I don't see why the porn industry is having so much trouble filtering out the ugly ones... Porn is designed so that the man can fantasize that he is the one having sex with the woman. So a woman that wants to watch straight porn is going to have trouble. I keep mentioning it, and no one has responded. Could you imagine if there were POV videos from the woman's POV? Editing sounds like a good idea - if you want to change a 20 minute video to about 20 seconds... do you have any idea how much screen time a man's face gets? I think it's interesting that you are perceiving me as wanting ONLY to see men's faces. I just think it should be in the shot. Period. Usually if it is, it's a long shot of both man and woman. Think outside the box buddy! omg... totally didn't mean that as a pun haha |

| Canadian_Cindy Deactivated User 1102 Posts 2/15 | The reality of porn is this VERY FEW men in this world can perform in porn, day in and day out,...... out of the men able to do this, very few will chose porn as a career. The vast majority of men who carry a big dick and think they can fuck for hours die on a porn set with lights, bitchy partners, crew, starts and stops, and demands to cum on command. ED Meds have helped, but still are not a solve all. Also, the life of a porn male sucks to be frank.. they don't make a lot of money, most of them are broke and couchsurfing or rooming together, etc.... the point being is, the talent pool is so small and it is so difficult to actually do this job, we are stuck with a small group of the same guys over and over and over again. Once a guy has a rep for performing, he is on call. A director loses a ton of money if some guy shows up and cant stay hard or can't cum and they have to pay everyone and call off the shoot. That is utter misery. So, they just call "the guy they know will get the job done" so there is not that risk. Gay porn has a lot more men that would be considered attractive; however, it is a much different industry, a significant portion of them carry HIV, and you can't just import them into straight porn so easily because even if they will be "straight for pay", passing the testing protocols would not work for many of them. So, your comment has some truth. If they can perform, they are in. The amount of men who can do this is so small if you get too picky on looks you will end up with a talent pool too small to support the industry. Edited by - Canadian_Cindy on 9/6/2016 4:38:13 PM |

| Canadian_Cindy Deactivated User 1102 Posts 2/15 | I am not sure you point? I am not saying anything that is not common knowledge already. Gay Porn allows HIV positive performers, "straight" porn does not and have more rigorous testing protocols. If you your test reveals you have HIV in straight porn, you are out. If you are a gay performer you can continue to make scenes either with condoms or other HIV positive performers. The reason I brought it up was her comments on looks, and I feel gay porn has a lot of great looking men; however, it is difficult to get them into B/G porn because of the HIV situation in their part of the industry. So, what are you actually trying to say? Edited by - Canadian_Cindy on 9/6/2016 6:55:20 PM |

| Canadian_Cindy Deactivated User 1102 Posts 2/15 | I was sharing why the gay performers can't just walk into hetero porn to grant "better looking men". That is it. Agree or not, testing and HIV is a barrier to entry for gay performers to cross. HIV positive men are allowed to perform with condoms or bareback with other HIV positive men Testing protocols are not the same as the hetero industry Many of the gay performers could not pass a test if wanting to work "straight for pay" To me, active performers being allowed to work with HIV, that is a number in the dozens (or higher if you really do your diligence).. to me that is significant... if that isn't for you.. awesome... different standards. 3 - 5 performers once every few years having to retire from hetero porn when contracting HIV is also significant (every life is significant). However, there is not a comparison here as they are different situations. I really don't get why you are derailing this other than to be annoying or something. | BlackSix All-Star Member pornography wasn't sex but fantasies of an impossibly hospitable world 12377 Posts 9/07 | This article from 2014 seems to suggest that infections from on-set sex are at least as low as in straight porn, if not lower. Also this interview with Owen Hawk from 2013 gives some great insight into how the modern gay porn industry works. Seems condoms are industry standard still, which is what I've read before. |

| Slector Member 655 Posts 2/14 | Why don't you just try cam sites where guys are jacking off? Or if, by some million to one chance, this thread convinces someone to make some like that--great, more power to you. But I really think doing your own editing is your best bet. That's what I do, and I'm sure I'm one of those porn watchers the OP hates, because I never EVER want to see a guy's face in the porn I watch. I edit that out, to the frame, exactly when his face comes into view, and then start back as soon as his face is gone. I like to fantasize that I am the one fucking those girls. I can't do that if another guy's face is in view. If you want to call that homophobia or whatever, that's fine, I don't care. The point is- I pay my hard earned cash for my porn and then I take the effort to get it to be the way I want it. To get what you want, you have to work for it. Just complaining about it won't change a thing. Edited by - Slector on 9/7/2016 8:16:40 AM |

The only time I don't want to see the guy's face is when they're about to come. But as has been said elsewhere on this site, that's really an 80s thing. |
