I want to use this program to create a database of porn actresses and films. I want to be able to store up to 10 pictures of each actress but am not sure if the program will let me do this as I think there is a memory limit on file size. What format does FMP use for photos?

10 pictures per star? I guess they would have to be small pictures then anyway.
My database on female stars contains 5936 stars. I have added a picture to 2460 of them. Those pictures are between 12 Kb and 100 Kb. The database itself is 120 Mb.

To give you all an idea on what my database on girls looks like (I also have seperate databases on titles, producing companies, distribution companies, directors and male performers), see the following picture of the file of Celeste.

Yep, I collect a lot of totally useless information.

Frigo, I am no expert on FMP and it may depend on the version you are using. I will try to find out about this and post again.

Short answer is that you can import Excel files into Filemaker Pro. Its best to create the same fields in FMP as you have in your Excel database. I have not done this but as in all operations of this sort I would strongly recommend you to make backup copies of everything - these things can go horribly wrong!
