I did not masturbate (officially) until I was about 17. For possibly religious reasons and homophobic reasons I was opposed to stroking off, but oddly(in retrospect) enough I still kinda played with myself(tugging, moving, twisting). One night a downward pull of a rock hard erection resulted in a point of no return. It felt damn fucking good, but I felt ashamed. After that I kinda thought 'what the fuck! I'm already cursed.' So a new habit was formed.

I think I've answered this question before but I've been "playing" with myself ever since I can remember and an uncle once told me he saw me masterbating when I was just a toddler. How strange you said that Vanish, I thought I was going to be the oddball saying I had that experience. I too was 13 and have never been able to quite re-create that sensation. It was almost an out of body experience...
I would have been 11 I think. The topic had come up when I was in grade 6, so I decided to try it at home. I had no idea if I was doing it "right", nor did I have any clue what it was I was actually supposed to be feeling.
I do remember that it was the *slowest* I'd ever done it (I think I took 20 minutes) because I had no idea what to expect or what the general cause/effect was. In any case, it was one of the most memorable of experiences I've ever had.
Edited: I need to qualify my statement of 20 minutes as being the "slowest" I've ever done it (I just finished reading another thread). We discussed this in a thread some months ago. Like Asmodeus, I became aware of the sensation early on. My 1st real orgasm would have been at 10 or 11. No semen, just pure fun orgasm. Those were the days, no mess, no fuss. I had older brothers, which was helpful in getting an early start.
Menace, you bring up an interesting point. I think I was around 12 years old when I first squirted after jacking-off and it was quite an eye opening experience! I knew what to expect since I had 2 older brothers. Also, my 2 best friends (my JO buds) were also older than me, so I was the last to "shoot".
