[ invalid url ] The pricing seems steep for generic-seeming content, but I like the concept. Wonder what the video quailty is like and what encoding and menu system they are using.

The videos would appear to be HIGHLY compressed, and not of "DVD quality" from what I looked at.
Example: the 16-GB drive runs 1,500 minutes
I mean, come on!
A 16-GB drive could, possibly, hold four single-sided DVDs (maybe 6-8 hours of DVD-quality video).
1,500 minutes is 25 hours, for crying-out-loud.
This sounds like a good idea, but the reason I buy porn on media is QUALITY, not quantity.
This sounds like even lower quality than 4-hour comps at a very premium price.

^Geez; that's a lot of compression. I hope the shoddy implementation doesn't ruin the concept before it has a chance to succeed. I can envision VOD sites offering roll-your-own scene compilations loaded onto flash drives for customers who want the clips without the download wait time or streaming restrictions and for customers who don't have high-speed connections.

You get a sample of the quality to be expected when you see that some titles show "vidios" instead of videos!
Thanks, but no thanks!

Well, the size of flash media is increasing as prices fall so at some point, it will be feasible to put a few movies on one drive without a bunch of compression and sell it all for a reasonable price. They probably figure that it's a bad idea to try and sell a couple of movies on a drive for a high price. A 16 gig flash drive still costs a significant amount of money by itself.
Who would pay a premium for porn on a flash drive just for the novelty of it being on a flash drive? It has to be competitively priced or it's just an expensive novelty.

You can find 16GB flash drives for $40 without even searching out a cheap price deal. They're selling the 16GB pornflash for $120, which means $80+ is the content. That's a lot of money for overcompressed mystery porn with no details other than: "The hottest scenes featuring the hottest stars from the hottest studios!"

It's a new thing. Anytime you have something that's just coming out, prices are inflated. If you don't want to pay that much for it, don't. I kind of hope people do because it will mean that they will continue to develop it and it will eventually be widely available and prices will go down while the quality goes up (hopefully).
