Even if the movie stinks, there's a HUGE extras section with a lot of behind the scenes stuff, Jet Li training stunts with his double, etc. I bought the DVD solely for that. (And if you're into martial arts as a whole, the Enter the Dragon DVD is another must-have. The extras section has hours of training sessions. Bruce Lee rules!) ................................ Now, you might expect a true chopsocky purist like Wendy to pour scorn on my choice of film, perhaps even to say that it was a horrible movie that sucked. And who among us wouldn't have been temped to say that Chow was a poser who knew nothing about martial arts and had to be choreographed through all his fight scenes and that Jet Li was a billion times better? Very few of us I'm sure. But, of course, Wendy was far too sweet to say anything of the sort. So lets all show the same generosity of spirit. Chow Yun Fat's Hard Boiled is not a modern masterpiece.
